Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Our beautiful apartment in the listed "Alte Mühle" is located in the artists' village of Kleinsassen in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, right at the foot of the Milseburg. It offers an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions to nearby Fulda and the Rhön, and in summer use of the beautiful garden with pool. The apartment is quietly located and has a separate entrance. The Kunststation Kleinsassen offers culture vultures a great program and a nice cafe.

From the house you can make wonderful hikes to Lake Guckai on foot or to the surrounding mountains (Wasserkuppe, horse head and much more).
