Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wasilla

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The lake provided a lot of entertainment for us when we were just hanging out at the house. We used the 2 kayaks and canoe quite a bit to fish or just paddle around the lake. The swans were out a few times too. We also enjoyed making s’mores in the really nice fire pit (bring your own s’mores ingredients & firewood). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with lots of appliances provided. Beds were very comfy! 2 bedrooms had an amazing view of the lake (master and one queen), while the other 2 rooms had televisions. The master bathroom was very spacious and had dual shower heads. Make sure to follow the directions Daniel provides when checking in because Google Maps does not have an accurate location for the house, but we found out that Apple Maps worked great. Location was good, only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Alaska!

This house was stunning— inside and out. What a great view for Alaska! The space had a modern aesthetic—clean lines, comfortable furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed (plus a few extras). Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive. If you're looking for a place with an incredible view, clean and modern vibes, and a peaceful atmosphere, this is it. I’d absolutely stay here again.

This was a cozy comfortable place to stay. I stayed in all day one day as I was under the weather. It was comfortable and I had a great view so I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. Loved the extras like bottled water in the fridge and plenty of blankets. The view of the mountains is beautiful

Stefany’s home looked just like the pictures. Everything was neat and clean. The area was perfect for us - near family, friends and the graduation ceremony. I would recommend this home and would definitely stay there again. We got quick responses to all our inquiries. I really appreciated that and felt well taken care of.

We rented this place on our way back from Denali NP in the summers. The place was really easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. We arrived late and needed somw creamer for our drinks, since there were no shops nearby. Kale was generous enough to let us get it from her personal stash. We had a good night's rest and would love to come again

I just want to say, it was a really nice stay. Clean, cute and felt like home. I also like the location. I will definitely come back again.!

The host was helpful and very polite. The house was perfect. We had enough room for 5 of us and were able to cook dinner and breakfast, thanks to well stocked pots, pans and utensils. The coffee maker came in clutch as we all love a cup in the morning. We had issues with our vehicle starting and when I let the owner know we would be a few minutes late leaving, they had responded quickly and understood our dilemma. Thank you for the amazing stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I’ll plan future stays here.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Not only is the house absolutely gorgeous with spectacular views, but Joline really made it feel like home for us. She went above and beyond to make sure the house was fully stacked with anything you would possibly need + more. We came to Alaska for a wedding and this was perfect for our family of 5. Not kidding we didn’t want to leave the Airbnb at all. It’s even more gorgeous in person. Would 10/10 recommend staying here and we hope to come back one day! Thanks Joline!

It far exceeded our expectations! The home is BEAUTIFUL, and very large! Gorgeously decorated ! Two floors, tons of space for multiple people. Cute little extras like toys and things to do for kids , kcups and a keurig, little toothpastes in the bathrooms and the best smelling toiletries ! The location is perfect! Just a short 1 minute drive from Parks Hwy and all of the stores and restaurants. Yet peaceful and beautiful on a lake with playground and private dock. We saw beavers swimming in the lake , and moose walking in the driveway two nights in a row! It was amazing! We came for a kids sports tournament at the Menard Center and it took only about 8 minutes to drive there each day. Trenitie is super communicative, answering my questions when I reached out to her even late at night ! Super appreciated the promptness. I can’t say enough great things about this place! And hope to stay there yearly when we come for sporting events !

Loved the area. Wasilla is only 45 min from Anchorage and an hour from Talkeetna. It was the perfect mix between experiencing the city and exploring the Alaskan wilderness.

Great location, easily walkable to local restaurants and coffee shops. Super comfy bed! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Extremely grateful for having a place to stay for a couple of days considering we have kids and all. Everything was all we could ask for. Hope we could use the place again if ever we're in Anchorage.

A great place in the heart of Downtown Anchorage. The unit was very nice and had ample space. The pullout sofa was very comfortable. You can walk everywhere in the downtown area. Host was very responsive and communicated effectively. We enjoyed our time in Anchorage before our cruise.

this is a really cute spot with everything that you might need. we were doing a lot of traveling across the state so it wasn't really a problem to be out and kind of isolated. it was nice and cozy. the owner is really pleasant and helpful and proactive in communicating. his family lives upstairs which was not a problem for us, but is something worth repeating for a review. they were all really nice when we had interactions and have adorable dogs. overall, there's not a lot of bad things to be said about the place it was enjoyable

By far, the best rental I’ve had with AirBnb. The instructions for check-in were seamless, everything was set and ready to go, there were printed instructions on the counter with everything I needed to know, the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom were well furnished and clean. It was exactly the kind of space that I needed after a long trip. A very positive and welcoming environment to stay at. It was obvious that my hosts were very intentional and professional. I’ve already highly recommended it to family for anyone visiting the area.

Great place to stay! Neighborhood was peaceful, we felt safe and the home felt like a home. The home was clean and everything from check in to checkout went great. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! Derek and Bianca were great hosts and would recommend their place to anyone traveling to Wasilla.

Wonderful location and beautiful condo!

This is a great place to stay! Convenient to great restaurants, sights and a fantastic view. The accomodation is immaculate and extremely comfortable; the bonus extras of toiletries, coffee, chocolates and bottled water exceeds any expectations. Yes, you can hear the train whistle, but it didn’t bother us and half of Anchorage would be able to hear it I’m sure!

Jeff took our impromptu reservation and we are grateful for the space. No issues with the rental whatsoever! would definitely rent again.

This was my second time staying at Luke’s Airbnb, and it was just as wonderful and perfectly stocked as I remembered it. Luke is always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I loved waking up to the beautiful mountain view’s, and ending the night with the fire pit in the back was just the cherry on top. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wasilla.
