We rented this place on our way back from Denali NP in the summers. The place was really easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. We arrived late and needed somw creamer for our drinks, since there were no shops nearby. Kale was generous enough to let us get it from her personal stash. We had a good night's rest and would love to come again

We loved this place! Immaculately clean. Entry was easy. We spent the weekend in the surrounding area - Hatcher Pass, Fireside Books, Reindeer Farm. My kids loved the loft and the backyard swing. Very private but close to attractions. Kitchen had everything we needed: we cooked at home for all meals, including making cookies from scratch. LOVED the two full bathrooms and thoughtful touches like dental floss which I forgot to bring. Toys and games for kids provided. Thanks for the wonderful house, Whitney!

The house was located in a nice quiet location. Even better- we got to see 3 bunnies hanging around along with the horses at the farm next door! Felicia was very accommodating and answered our questions quickly.

We loved the place. We would definitely stay again. Everything we needed for our stay. Great communication and very cozy. Great views from the dock.

Enjoyed this home with grandparents and hockey kids. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and upstairs loft area for young people to play games and have their own space. Big open kitchen & dining was great for family meals. Good location with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you Heather!

Great place to stay.

This cabin is more like a small house. We stayed here for a week and it was very clean, and quiet with comfortable beds. We’d definitely stay here again. The host was very attentive to detail, responsive and easy to communicate with. The cabin is actually about 20 minutes from the main part of town and will feel like you’re headed for the boonies, stay with it. Like most neighborhoods in Alaska there are some nice places and some dumps, so just be prepared for that on your way. Not to worry though the cabin is great. For the property owner: Please consider adding an ottoman or foot rests to the living room to make it really comfortable.

This is my third stay at this location. I absolutely love it for it’s peaceful and quiet surroundings. I will certainly be back again!

Fantastic view of the frozen lake from the deck! We thought winter there would be boring and covered with white snow, but we were wrong. The iced lake reflected beautiful blue shade when sunrise and sunset. It is Amazing! We enjoyed our entire time staying at the property. From the windows of open spaces living room and dining room and from the deck, we can see open beautiful lake view. The house is big, beautiful, open spaces and by the beautiful lake. Feeling of welcome when we first stepped in. The house is very clean. We had everything that we needed there. Owner provided quality materials to use. Host Rebekah is very nice. She responded to our questions within a short period of time. A plus that I would giving for this house is the water came from the refrigerator tasted better than most other the water bottled. We appreciated water source in AK vs. CA I wish I could stay there longer. Definitely will come back.

Apartment was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Brandy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. The parking was right in front of the door which was great for my wife who walks with a cane. It was also nice being able to park under a carport which came in handy when it was raining the day we were loading our truck to leave.

The Willow Aviator Lodge is a slice of Alaskan heaven! Such a unique place that has modern amenities, beautiful design, while maintaining a very cozy and rustic feel. If you like aviation, or are just looking to stay at a beautifully maintained Alaskan log cabin, then this is the spot to be! Stephanie is a very responsive, helpful, and overall wonderful host. We have stayed here several times and will certainly be back for more! Cannot recommend staying here highly enough!

Isaac was a great host, and the cabin was lovely! The lake was beautiful, and we enjoyed walking to the bar down the road. We would definitely come again if in the area.

We needed a simple and affordable cabin (with a shower) in the Wasilla/Willow area for a quick overnight. It was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and arranged/supplied/decorated to efficiently maximize comfort in the cozy space. The main bed was very comfy and my son reports he slept fine on the fold out couch/bed. Her check in/out directions were clear and easy to follow. Since the property has Nancy Lake access, I was trying to squeeze in some kayaking into our tight travel schedule. So I had lots of extra questions that I messaged her about re Kayak rentals and possibly arriving early to kayak before check in etc. Maggie answered each of my extra messages promptly which was very helpful for planning purposes. Her cleaning fee was affordable compared to the crazy high cleaning fees on some properties, so we made sure to do our part by leaving it tidy, washing and putting away all dishes used, and even pre stripped the bed sheets so it would be quicker cleaning for her after.

Overall, we had a nice/fun stay at Destiny’s! The place was clean, and quiet! The s’mores and hot tub were a nice touch! Destiny was very communicative and was quite helpful when we had to deal with some technical issues with Airbnb. The only issue for us was that the hot tub was too close to the host’s residence. The camper was not very far either, it was within earshot/eye-view of the host’s house so it did not feel very private or secluded. Although, this was the case, it should be noted that the hosts were very quiet, and respectful! Thank you kindly for your hospitality!

Just as advertised this lake house is very relaxing and chill. The hot tub was a huge benefit. Host provided sanitary supplies, coffee, and a smores kit! Host was responsive to questions and we would definitely book again. This stay was late april so the lake wasnt fully thawed yet, I can imagine its even better in the summer when the water is open!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful location and super responsive and friendly host. Kitchen was well stocked and it was close enough to a grocery store if you needed one. It was a relaxing, peaceful, location.

Great place! Had everything as described and then some. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen . Hot tub was great, saw a moose walk up just below the deck as we hung out. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in Palmer area.

Joe and Leslie were great hosts, they provided us coffee, goodies and fresh eggs as an unexpected serendipity. They were very responsive to any questions. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The place and surrounding area was extremely quiet. I slept great every night! Thank you Joe and Leslie, for your attention to detail!

All the amenities of home in the seclusion of Alaska, just 15 minutes off the well-beaten path! This place was just as lovely as the pictures show, if not better. We enjoyed the hot tub each night after long days exploring the lake and surrounding areas. The waterfowl and wildlife were unmatched. The WiFi was even better than back home. All facilities were immaculately maintained and well cared for and you can tell the folks that care for this cabin take a lot of pride in it. Please note: This cabin is truly off the well-beaten path. The last 10-15 minutes to the cabin include a mix of gravel roads and one ways. Jennifer went above and beyond in being communicative and transparent with us about the location and accessibility of this cabin and we knew what we were getting into. We were thrilled to stay in such a tranquil place where we saw only one car go by in 3 days! We will definitely be back!
