Seaview Fisherman’s Cottage

ChristopherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Nikki’s lovely home. So full of character & charm. Absolutely great being so close to the beach. Loved the views! (Even in the rain!) Had comfortable nights sleep. I’m 6 months pregnant and thought the downstairs loo might be an issue but actually was fine. The house had absolutely everything you might need. My kids loved playing jenga, my husband listened to some old records and I had a relaxing bath. Dog was so happy on the cosy rug and my Gran quite content to potter around and pleased with the convenience of a downstairs bedroom. (And iron / iron board!) Thank you so much. x

Earthstone Granary

SerinaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a magical Christmas break here and would really recommend staying too! Carolyn was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us lots of local reccomendations too. The Granary is beautifully designed and has everything you need for it to feel like a home away from home, we especially enjoyed cosy nights by the fire. Its set in a beautiful location with lots of picturesque circular walks from the granary and plenty of nearby villages and coasts to explore by car too. We also reccomend making the most or the dark sky reserve - we were taken aback by how much we could see stargazing at night! We've already recommended this place to our friends and family and can't wait to visit again sometime too!

Park Home in Watchet

KateRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We booked this as a last minute holiday and Clare was very accommodating. The cabin is located in a peaceful location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s an easy walk/cycle in to Watchet and cycling to Dunster is straightforward, but as a note to other cyclists there are a few steep hills to negotiate on the round trip. Just made us enjoy our glass of wine even more on our return 😄 The cabin manual says the Wifi can be patchy, but we were unable to obtain WiFi all week and the TV reception was dodgy also. These could be issues for some, but did not negatively impact our holiday. The strength of the shower’s water pressure is fabulous! We returned home rested and made some lovely memories in a beautiful part of the country.

Spacious apartment in Bicknoller

We needed a bolt hole for a night out with some family and chose Linda's place for proximity to where we were going. It is a lovely spacious clean and tidy flat above the owners property with beautiful views over the garden and open countryside. Instructions are very to the point but tell you what you need to know and what to do and not to do! Linda gave us three recommendations for brunch the next day and we went to the Rocking Horse in or near Stugumber which we loved. We will stay again hopefully when we return to the area in September for another night out with family.

We wanted a slightly different holiday instead of the usual. We found Bev's place not too far from Minehead. Perfect for us. Multiple beaches, one just off the camp. It is in a beautiful location, lovely view, great host, lovely place to stay. Brilliant

Cottage

Spent a lovely, relaxing week in Washford. The property is bright and spacious and has everything you need. The bed was super comfy, best nights sleep I've had in a long time! Judith and Dan were good hosts, very friendly and happy to share local knowledge. There are 2 pubs in the village, both serve food and are within walking distance.

Chalet no.61 on the Blue Anchor beachfront

GlynisRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Just back from my third visit to this lovely chalet. There is everything you need for a comfortable self catering holiday. The location is wonderful, right by the beach and close to the Blue Anchor station on the steam railway. You can do lovely walks and combine that with a train ride (check the timetables!) It’s lovely afterwords to sit on the patio taking in the view, listening to the sea whilst enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine A great place to relax.
