We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The accommodation is very nice, lovingly decorated and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings invite you to relax – perfect for escaping the ordinary. The contact with the hosts was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the chalet!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Recreatiepark De Wielen! The cottage was brand new, beautifully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The location is great – quiet, beautiful views and an ideal base for excursions in the area. Everything was very clean and well kept. We immediately felt at home and would love to come back. Absolutely recommended!

Albert put a lot of effort into the house, which you could see. He was very nice and accommodating, always responded quickly if there was something and everything you needed was there!

I stayed with a friend and her dog for four nights in the accommodation. We really enjoyed the time in the beautiful cottage! The location is very nice, the accommodation clean and the kitchen is really well equipped. Communication with Linda is easy and fast. We will be back!

A very nice little cottage, with a small garden. Very cozy furnishings and beautifully decorated with a very nice kitchen. The house is on a campsite and it was very quiet. To the beaches and larger towns about 20 - 30 min by car.

We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

Small cottage with in a top location. The house was very cozy in the backyard of Ellen. We found everything we needed (spices, oil, tissues, etc.) and even got some fresh eggs. We spend two lovely days here and will come back.

The place at Anna-Marijke's was very nice and cozy. Check-in was convenient and straightforward. Communication worked very well, Anna-Marijke always responded quickly. We were even able to spontaneously extend a day. The place is centrally located and yet very quiet. Beautiful hiking trails lead through the dune forest to the sea. It was very nice. Thank you, Anna-Marijke!

Everything was perfect! Coffee & tea supplied. Lovely apartment, lent us bikes foc. We used the pick up service from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was friendly, convenient & punctual. It was also good value for money. Best AirBnB so far! Thank you Bart, Elias & Renee.

The stay at Els and Ted's house was fantastic! 😊 The house was extremely clean and tidy! And everything looks so beautiful and new, especially the bathrooms. Els and Ted are very warm hosts and very child-friendly :) The garden is large and also totally well maintained. The children had a lot of fun there on the swing/slide and we were allowed to borrow 2 go-karts and the children were also allowed to feed the chickens with Els :) We also got fresh eggs ;) In bad weather, there is an indoor playground nearby, where the children had a lot of fun. So an all-round successful weekend and we can imagine coming back :) All the best to Els & Ted and thank you for your hospitality :)

We stayed in the accommodation for a week with six people and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever stayed at. The place is just as beautiful as the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the amenities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea views is also a highlight:) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This property has really thought of everything and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But here, too, everything has been thought of, there are numerous fly screens and if you pay attention when ventilating, you still have a spider-free house:)

We stayed four nights at this place with a family of five people. The location was very nice to explore the area and close to nice cities and the beach. The house is very well equipped. As described before the stairs are not very comfortable with children and you can hear every noise. But the host provided a baby gate. Edwin also gave us good tips for restaurants and the area. We had a very nice stay in Bergen. Thank you!

It was just what we needed, thank you

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

We had a super nice holiday week in the cozy cottage and the wonderful garden. The cottage is well located and well equipped.

Very well-maintained and modern accommodation, almost nothing to complain about, except two small things. The bedroom with bunk and single bed is a bit small, with 3 people you will be able to sleep there rather badly. The patio door of our house could not be opened, which, however, was not bad, as so fewer mosquitoes could get inside. All in all, however, a recommended accommodation if you are prepared to travel a lot by car or want to explore the surroundings by bike.
