Beautiful, inspiring, and peaceful, Arthouse is a place to escape. This converted art studio in West Dorset is close to Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. It is surrounded by wildflowers and features contemporary art and sculptures by artists Rouwen and Reeve. The space is complemented by mid-century modern furnishings, high ceilings, and exposed beams. All doors open to a private patio and a naturalistic garden. The Sauna, located in the gravel garden looks out onto sculptures and plants.

During your stay you'll have the place to yourselves, including a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom, (with bath and shower), and a living space including a sumptuous double bed, sofa-bed and table. Ideally situated on the outskirts of the Historic town of Wareham, the gateway to the Jurassic coast, within easy reach of Durdle door, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Corfe castle and the Studland peninsular. There is a bus stop and 2 local shops a short walk away, and Wareham train station is within 1 mile. Wareham forest, with bike tracks/walking trails is accessed at the end of the road.

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.
