A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you!

Our closest town is Huntly which has a castle, golf course, swimming pool,supermarkets, places to eat, and a newly built cinema and café. With a short drive you'll find the area bursts with castles, picturesque coastlines, quaint historic villages, antiquities, golf courses, fishing, distilleries, galleries, children’s activity centres, glorious walks, bike trails, skiing and much more besides.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

The Bonnie Wee Cottage snuggled at the bottom of Bennachie’ Close to Wedding Venues and Castle/Whisky Trails with Stunning Garden. Michelle Marie’s cosy abode is located in the centre of the quaint hamlet of Oyne, Aberdeenshire in the North East of Scotland. Right in the centre of Aberdeenshire so ideal for adventurers! This charming wee granite cottage is snuggled into the idyllic countryside in the shadow of the local landmark, Bennachie, a large hill range which dominates the landscape.

Enjoy relaxing in this peaceful, Aberdeenshire cottage. It's the perfect starting point to enjoy North-East Scotland’s magnificent rivers, hills and coastline. As well as offering a tranquil space to wildlife spot from the garden or get cosy by the fire, if you have a taste for exploration, the cottage is nestled in the heart of the Whisky Trail. The local area offers opportunities for world renowned salmon and trout fishing, visiting historic castles and is a gateway to the Cairngorms.

The Farm Bothy Cottage

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.

Alimar, a charming house in the centre of Huntly

Delightful bungalow set in a quiet conservation area. Five minute walk to local shops. Two spacious double bedrooms, two single bedrooms, family bathroom and separate shower room with WC. Fully fitted, well equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. Spacious lounge with comfortable sofas, TV and dining table seating six. Central heating throughout. Private rear garden with access to a quaint and well equipped summer house with lighting, sofa & chairs.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese and an excellent Morrisons Daily shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.
