Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

We have catch and release fishing on property at designated area (children must be accompanied by an adult) and we have firewood and ice available

800 sq ft cabin with private 10 x 30 front porch overlooking 5 acre lake. The living and kitchenette area have beautiful views of the lake. The kitchen contains a small refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen does not contain a stove. The cabin is a one bedroom with queen size bed, separate dressing room with desk/vanity area and an oversized bathroom with walk-in shower. Private parking. WiFi.
