Vacation rentals with a sauna in Walkenried

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia's apartment. The place is beautifully decorated and very clean – you feel right at home. Particularly noteworthy is the warm and courteous manner of the hosts, who were always there to help us with advice and action. The sauna was definitely a highlight and made the stay even more special. The beds were also super comfortable and provided relaxing nights. Overall absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

There were three of us for a road bike weekend at the place. It was very clean, all the important utensils were available. Fast and friendly communication with Lucas and Dana. An ideal starting point for road bike tours. We'd love to come back!

There were four of us on a cycling vacation. The place was very nice, a private, lockable cellar compartment for the bikes was available. The apartment was clean, the essentials were available.

Highly recommended! Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful balconies and great views. Communication with the two hosts was also very good!

Nice apartment containing everything we needed. Peaceful location. Short walking distance to restaurants, Sole-Therme and hiking trails. Free parking on site, though it could be a hassle to get a spot. Don’t be fooled by the outdated look of the building - the apartment is spotless. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would come again some other time.

First class, very clean and large apartment. Large bedrooms with double beds and several bathrooms. The Glockenberg in Altenau has its own charm, but the area is incredibly quiet, and you can walk very quickly to the center. Very nice hosts. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

We were guests at the mountain lodge with two small children (4 and 6) and all four of us enjoyed it very much. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and tastefully furnished. Needs were also considered (puzzles, games, books; everything nice and high quality). The communication was excellent and we were able, for example, to book bed linens at short notice. There is plenty to do in Hahnenklee (hiking, gondola rides, summer toboggan run, excursion to the mine, excursion to Goslar,...). Huge praise and thanks to Britta and Markus!

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. The accommodation is not only beautifully decorated, but also incredibly spacious – perfect for our group. Everyone had enough space to retreat and at the same time there were great areas where we could spend time together. The common room with Kicker & Co. was a real highlight for us. What we loved: Each bedroom had either its own bathroom or one right next to it – that was totally practical and made our stay really relaxing. The kitchen was also well equipped. You can tell how much care is put into the accommodation – everything was very clean, cozy and thoughtful. It was just nice to come “home” in the evening after our excursions. We really enjoyed the time and would come back anytime. A very clear recommendation for those who want to spend a few relaxing days with friends or family

We are thrilled and felt comfortable right from the beginning. The apartment is very modern and comfortably furnished, nothing is really missing. The kitchen is excellently equipped, nothing is missing. The infrared cabin is the bomb and a real highlight, especially in winter. Ski and toboggan slope in the immediate vicinity, access to the cross-country ski trail within walking distance, what more could you ask for. We will definitely be back!

We felt at home. Everything was as described and super super child-friendly. We lacked nothing, child, husband and wife were happy without a wish. Perfect for 2 families because everything was available and the space was more than sufficient. The location is great, everything was clean & the kitchen was almost like home. We will definitely be back :)

We spent a weekend at this place and were very satisfied. Sascha is a very friendly host who values the satisfaction of his guests. The place was as described in a quiet area and you were right in a beautiful forest with great hiking. We were here with our dogs, for whom this environment was an absolute dream - for us of course too. The apartment was lovingly prepared and clean, which is always very important to us. We definitely recommend this place for people who love nature and want a cute place to stay. We definitely want to come back! :)

In the dragon's nest, the hosts warmly welcomed us, we felt comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is very nicely decorated and well laid out. Everything is sparkling clean and furnished with a lot of love. We will be happy to come back.

Great apartment! Highly recommended! The apartment is on the 15th floor and has an excellent view of the Harz. The apartment is really very comfortably furnished. You can tell that someone really thought about making the apartment very cozy. There were rakes and storage facilities in the right places. Despite the fact that the apartment is located in such a large complex, we have never noticed anything from the neighbors. There is plenty of parking. The swimming pool is great, we went there several times and did our laps. There is a small kiosk with a bread roll service in the entrance area. Flyers to excursion destinations were also available in the apartment. From the apartment, all our excursion destinations were easily accessible. The guest card also includes a ticket for public transport. We stayed 5 nights in the apartment, we said we could have stayed another week here without any problems. We will be happy to come back :)

The stay was wonderful! The accommodation was easily accessible for us by public transport and a great starting point for day trips, but also surrounded by great attractions and hiking trails. From the terrace you have a direct view of the castle mountain. The place itself was very clean and nicely decorated. The swimming pool is also a great additional offer. Communication with the host was easy and quick, and questions were answered directly. We felt very comfortable and would stay there again at any time

We were there for a few days to relax, which also worked out well as it was very quiet there. The apartment is as described and also very clean. From the balcony you could hear the owls in the evening. There is plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Our children loved the on-site swimming pool. The restaurant in the house was OK, but here you have to bring a lot of time. Despite the parking garage renovation, there are still some parking spaces outside. We thought it was nice there and the kids did too.

Great house for large groups of people. Nice courtyard to linger! The communication with Marcus was very straightforward and he always responded quickly. Absolute highlights are hot tub and sauna!

As always, it was a wonderful family stay with Hartmut and Ida. The summer house is fantastic. Perfectly cut with an integrated sauna, a small garden with a fireplace and a sound hi-fi system. You feel completely in your own realm. The surroundings are very worth seeing and the local restaurants leave nothing to be desired. Everything is easily accessible and the short drive to and from the highway (A7) make the arrival and departure a breeze. Hartmut and Ida are the perfect hosts. Always friendly, nice and courteous, you lack nothing when you spend your stay here as a guest. In the meantime, I have been a guest of the two for a total of 6 months for business reasons and a wonderful friendship has developed. From me an absolute recommendation and 10⭐ from the heart. I'll be happy to come back anytime and look forward to our next meeting.

We had a very nice stay. Only people over 1:80m have to be careful not to bump their heads here and there. Otherwise perfect for groups even with small children!

We had wonderful family days (twelve of us) with Kerstin. The house is great, the garden has many small corners where you can also retreat. Fire bowl, pool, sauna - everything you need is there.

Great location in a sweet place. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation so far. The rooms are very lovingly decorated. The floor creaks very loudly, but it's just an old house :) the communication was great, very helpful and friendly.

We rented the entire house (8 adults and 2 toddlers) and had a lovely stay in the Harz. Dogs are also allowed. The property has 2 beautiful large living areas, comfortable beds, a nice barbecue area and various activities for children in the garden. We were allowed to check out later on request. Communication was nice and fast.

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. We had plenty of space at the round table (13 people) for shared meals, which we prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.

We spent a week there with the family and are thrilled. The house is large and spacious. The living room, dining room and outdoor area offer enough space for everyone to sit together. The garden offers many activities with a trampoline, kicker, table tennis table and swings. Even for small guests, everything you need is there: travel cots, fall protection, high chairs, small children's bench on the terrace, sandbox, various swings and a large chest with toys in the living room. The immediate surroundings offer an outdoor swimming pool and forest for short walks, and other great excursion destinations are in the area. In one of the bedrooms under the roof, the bed is under the sloping roof. This was used by two adults and felt too cramped. The sauna is very spacious and well-maintained. However, we missed an outdoor shower. We had to get used to the creaking of the doors at the beginning. We would still come back anytime
