Vacation rentals with a patio in Waikanae Beach

This might be the most charming Airbnb I have ever stayed in- so tastefully decorated in a subtle beach theme. Everything felt new, light, and airy. The bed was comfortable with high quality linens. I appreciated the thoughtfully stocked kitchenette with all foods needed to prepare a light breakfast. The beautiful beach couldn't be any closer. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Sally's place, the Griffin Inn, to anyone wishing to stay in tranquil surroundings in the Porirua area. It's on the north side of beautiful Tītahi Bay, with an amazing clifftop walk just up the hill for you and / or your dogs. It's a short walk to the beach itself. Sally place is a separate small house set beside the family home, and despite the name is not an inn as such but rather a dedication to her mum and the family name. It is immaculate, cozy, well presented, tucked away in a sheltered little oasis and has a nice covered outside area for relaxing. Sally is a wonderful, friendly and open-hearted host and she made us feel very welcome indeed (myself and my dogs). If Sally is not onsite her daughter Kim will look after you to the same standard, and her son Dave might even look after your dogs if you need (he runs a doggy daycare business). Highly recommended for singles, couples, small families and people with pooches. Would stay again for sure.

Plimmerton and the Punga hideaway is the perfect spot for a weekend away, its a great wee spot and we would be more than happy to stay again if we are back again some day, excellent place and hosts.

This place suited us perfectly for a long weekend from Wellington. It is very comfortable and the amenities are great. It’s super close to the village and beach. Kylie is super friendly and responsive.

Staying at Chris’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful experience. The home was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming — it was clear a lot of care had gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. But what made the stay truly memorable was Chris himself. From the beginning, his communication was warm, clear, and prompt. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. You can really tell when someone loves being a host — and Chris absolutely does. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking — do it. Such an amazing property which was a great location for us to visit friends. Stunning views, comfortable beds and loads of space. Very well suited for two couples or a small family. Ample space in bedrooms for a byo travel cot. Rooms were a little cooler than the main house but only noticed as we had a young baby. Kitchen well stocked with utensils.

A magical spot! Beautiful views, easy access to the beach and walking tracks. Great local Restaurant! Loved the bikes and the kids loved the huge fenced soccer field! The bach had everything we needed!

Our stay was perfect. Nicola is such an amazing host, giving us extra recommendations for the time with our kids. The location of the house is perfect. Awesome views to the sea and just an easy stroll to the playground and the beautiful Queen Elizabeth park. The house itself got everything we need, we felt super comfortable all the time. We had a fantastic stay! The house was super comfortable, with everything we needed provided. The location is unbeatable—right across the road from the beach. We especially loved the upstairs area with its stunning sunset and sea views. The beds were very comfy too.

This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.
