We had a lovely stay despite mixed weather that didn't stop us from enjoying walks in authentic nature full of charm even in winter. Our hosts were very concerned about our well-being and we communicated easily with them throughout our stay. Calm is guaranteed in this well-located rental, close to the small town of Masevaux offering all the necessary services. Quick access to the Ballon d'Alsace via a scenic road provides access to a panorama you won't want to miss.

Gèrard is a very open and nice person. He explained everything to us and the house really has everything you need. The kitchen is really fully equipped and the house was the cleanest house we have ever booked!! The location is quiet, yet you can quickly reach a bakery by car. That wasn't our last visit to Gérard. Fantastic accommodation, in a truly beautiful location, with exceptional hosts. Our stay was, in word one, perfect. The gîte was spacious, comfortable, and extremely practical for a one-month stay, with our 2 x small dogs. The wood burning stove was an extremely nice feature, making the evenings particularly cozy. Also, special mention must go to the water, which could arguably be the best water we've ever had! Coming straight from a nearby stream, it is so clean and delicious. The location is amazing - stepping out of the gîte, you are surrounded by beautiful meadows and woodland (with plenty of wildlife). The views of the surrounding mountains are amazing. It is also very practical in terms of local amenities (cafes, shops, and other points of interest). Justine and Sebastien were excellent hosts, making us feel right at home. Not only were they especially kind and generous, they also had great advise for nearby activities. We would highly recommend staying here! Mike & Candice

A perfect stay. Clean, well arranged and very well-equipped accommodation, especially on the kitchen side where there is everything to cook for several people. Small necessities (coffee, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper) sufficient for a few days. Shared terrace very well, not necessarily the best exposure to fully enjoy the sun but must be pleasant on hot days. Quiet place Responsive and accommodating host. Very happy stay.

If you are looking for a quiet place out in nature with enough space for several families, the cottage is perfect. Now that the hot-tube is installed - it’s even better. And Samuel kindly changed the water as the kids went in there with dirty feet. Inside the kids shouldn’t play too loudly, which sometimes isn’t easy - but there is lots of space outside!! We would book it again :)
