Vacation rentals with lake access in France

Ben and Georgie have an amazing place in a great location! I would love to tell you all that we hated it in the hopes to gatekeep it for ourselves, however that would be unfair to Ben and Georgie who were absolutely fantastic hosts. The barn has been brilliantly converted, with four great bedrooms and everything you’d need to enjoy and relax. The outdoor space was the highlight for us. Definitely worth going for the spa facilities, the jacuzzi was great and the sauna was far better than we expected. Thanks again to Ben and Georgie! We’ll definitely be visiting again!

we had two wonderful weeks in Requista, the Aveyron is beautiful, with its quiet villages in the countryside. Many beautiful views during our walks made us quiet... Sorry to leave this behind, but we take beautiful memories with us.

Annabelle has a wonderful place. Her hospitality was great, the view was spectacular and the hot tub was a lovely way to start or end the day. The place is mostly stone and has been renovated perfectly. Definitely a great place to stay

Small house full of charm and comfortable in the countryside. Perfect for a family time. We loved it!

Everything has already been said. The fisherman's house is located in an idyllic place and in an Olympian calm. We felt immediately at ease and Denys' welcome was very warm and friendly. Admittedly, some maintenance work is necessary, but as Denys says, various external factors mean that this is not always possible. But the feeling of living in symbiosis with nature makes you forget these small disadvantages.

Lovely home surrounded by gorgeous gardens and greenery. Most enjoyed breakfast on patio smelling honeysuckle. Anni gave great recommendations and suggestions to enjoy the neighboring towns. Many thanks, Lara

From the first interaction with Julien and from the first time we entered in the apartment, we can only say that all was more than perfect! How he greeted us, how much support and useful tips offered us along the stay, how wonderful the apartment is, how well connected with everything in Paris. Walking into Catherine’s apartment was such a treat. It is an oasis of style and elegance. The bonus is that it is a supremely comfortable and well set up apartment in a brilliant location for exploring Annecy. A perfect combination. It’s a truly special place and I feel so fortunate to have stayed there.

What a wonderful location being quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nature totally surrounds you and the bird life is amazing. The house was spotless and very comfortable with many nice touches. There is a lot to see and we particularly liked the Passage du Gois and Noirmoutier. Plenty of good restaurants and if you like seafood you will be in heaven. Thoroughly recommend and your host is very welcoming.

A quiet nature break. Everything was perfect. The accommodation is very well-equipped, it matches the description in every way and the Nordic bath is really very pleasant. Cyril is a responsive, very discreet host and he advised us to visit very beautiful villages nearby. Go there without so much as a second thought, it was a real "disconnection" bubble, refreshing in the heart of nature 😊

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Lots of space both inside and out. Decor was quirky and whimsical. So nice to walk around the lake and into town for baked goods and groceries. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We have just had the most wonderful stay at Martine’s place. Martine and her husband were both really welcoming. The house has everything you need and is situated in a beautiful location. We loved our evening drink on the terrace overlooking the valley. Fabulous!
