Gamlestova on Juv

Gamlestova was the original farmhouse in the main tunnel of the farm and is a historic traditional building with airy barrier now with skylight and large kitchen called Kove. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and you are lucky to follow a tourist boat on your way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening, one can fire in the oven, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge. You might be lucky to see a flock of orcas in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both big and small boats, also cruise ships going to/from Geiranger. The cabin is 20 m from the sea, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep swab and close. We have life vests available.
