You can sit in the covered jacuzzi all year round and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2h), Loen with Skylift (1.5h), the bird island Runde, Øye (1h) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5h). Mountain trips on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

The small boat harbor is a 5-minute walk away. Ørsta is known for its beautiful mountains that are suitable for both hiking and skiing. Free parking. The bus station is 5 minutes away. Cozy cabin by the main road, a mile from Folkestad in Volda municipality. The cabin is located by itself and has a boathouse, here you can fish and swim. The cabin is simple and has four beds, in addition to a living room and kitchen in one with simple standard. There is a balcony and a garage where there is both a barbecue and sun loungers you can use. There is electric heating, but also a wood burning stove and wood that can be used.
