Guesthouse vacation rentals in Volcano

Coming from another Airbnb that was horrible dirty ,and was told I wasnt gonna find anything better and cleaner then her I was able to stay at Cynthia's place was great. Great hospitality,communication and nearby everything

Location is convenient to get to Volcabo national park or to Hilo. We had an easy check-in experience and stay. There is not too much exactly nearby but within 10 minutes you can get to Foodlands and some restaurants.

This place is a gem when visiting Volcanoes national park. Totally quite at night and gorgouse by day. About 23 min to the park. Super cute and totally what we love about tiny houses in Hawaii.

Sharon and Mark were so sweet! We got a little tour and lots of great conversation with them! It was cozy and a beautiful location.

Comfortable accommodations don't begin to describe this beautiful, tranquil spot with tall ceilings and breezy atmosphere. Awesome place to relax on an island with so much to do. Host is great - responsive and provides first class recommendations!

David and Kevin's guest house was amazing! Perfect size for 2 people to comfortably enjoy. Spending time on the lanai drinking a morning coffee or eating a meal while enjoying the landscape is something you don't want to miss. David and Kevin are awesome hosts, anything we needed was either in the guesthouse or they had it to share. Thank you David and Kevin for your hospitality!

We had a very short stay here and it was great. Autumn was a very good and prompt communicator, and so kind. The cottage had everything we needed, the instructions were clear, and it felt very private. Highly recommended for 1-2 people, although you can make a 3rd person work if needed, as we were able to. Thanks so much, Autumn!

Robin was a great host. She was responsive and accommodating and the jungalow was beautiful. If you’re looking for a great place to reconnect with nature, it’s the perfect place.

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful home.The property was surrounded by beautiful flowers and lush greenery, making it a relaxing and scenic place to unwind. The home was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Prakasit was a responsive and helpful host, making check-in and communication easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat on the Big Island.

Everything was perfectly set. Clear entry instructions. A clean and orderly house. An amazing binder covering everything you could need or want to know! My only callouts are: the frogs and roosters are loud, but they provide earplugs if you need them! (If you’ve ever lived near a pond or a farm you’ll be fine)

Jordan was very responsive and very helpful. The Airbnb was solid and had all the things we required for a 5 day stay. The only slight issues are that there wasn't a dedicated kitchen (there was a kitchenette and a butane stove)and there were a couple of bugs here and there but when you consider that the location is a very tropical area, it is impressive that there weren't more of them. All in all Jordan is a great host and I would definitely book here again!

Great place to stay close to Volcanoes National Park. Perfect size for a couple and very private with the woods and long driveway to the house. Would stay here again.

Host is 10/10 and place is 10/10. It was immaculately clean and very well organised. Location is slightly secluded but for us it worked. You would need a car for sure. Madeline is super responsive and super helpful. Everything she recommended was to our liking and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ❤️. I would highly recommend this stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at Beverly’s guest house! Beverly and Gerry are great hosts. We loved visits from their friendly dogs, Zack and Tibbey, walking down to see the goats, chickens and cow and just exploring their 44 acres. The personal touches of fresh eggs, pancake fixings, snacks and chocolates were so thoughtful. Being able to pick lemons and oranges was also a plus! Surrounded by natural beauty of the property, views of the ocean and Mauna Kea made it truly feel like paradise!! It is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Thank you Beverly and Gerry for a marvelous week and can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Extremely responsive hosts and kept us posted on what was going on. Very clean and private space!. If you are looking to stay somewhere near beach access I would stay on other side of island. It was difficult to find places to swim and lay on the beach. Relatively accessible to town and stores. Perfect space for a couple.

All of us enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s place. It was the perfect size for 5 of us; and that extra 1/2 bath was truly great to have! We really enjoyed eating the eggs from Debbie’s chickens that she left for us. We ate them scrambled and soft boiled and all were so delicious!! We picked fruits and flowers from their huge yard and we made friends with their dogs, birds and cows. We wanted to take a picture at the house with our Broken Dog Ranch shirts, but I felt bad that we were already late checking out. So we got together on Oahu for our photo shoot! 😁 This was my 2nd time staying at Debbie’s beautiful hale and I would definitely stay there again! Mahalo nui loa for your warm hospitality, Debbie! As Brenda says, do not listen to your GPS, follow her instructions and you'll get there just fine (we got lost and she came and got us to follow her to her paradise) She has a great set up and she is the BEST host we've had, very personable and by the time we left we felt like we were best friends. Left my phone there and she came and met me somewhere to bring the phone back to me. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable at here place. Sarah is by far the most helpful person ever! She welcomed our puppy AND kitten, and she even helped us during a pet emergency. We highly recommend her not only because her stay is magical and private and safe, you also feel instantly at home in her presence. We had a great time at the Pineapple’s studio, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the peacefulness of the place. We would go back anytime!

Charles and Kathy are wonderful hosts. Great location for excursions. Easy in and out to road system. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying here. It was in the middle of where we wanted to be and it was beautiful. Once I got there I really didn't want to leave again. The grounds are beautiful, the house is stunning. Love all the wildlife. You can see the ocean and sit and relax in the porch all day. The house has everything we needed. Only one thing missing was two beach chairs. But it was ok. Shopping, restaurants and the beach are within a 10 min drive. We had a great time exploring that side of the island. We hope to come again.
