We will be back! This is one of our favorite airbnbs we’ve stayed, everything is as it says on the tin and a good getaway for peace and privacy.

Great location, very responsible host!

The loft is as described in the listing. it was easy to find, parking was easy and check-in/out instructions were very straightforward.

The apartment was colocated with a very cool brewery, but it wasn’t loud. Everyone was very friendly. Location was very close to downtown. I also really appreciated the compilation of suggested things to do in the area, hiking trails, where to eat, etc. The space was just fine- reminded me of staying in a hotel but with much more. I would definitely stay there again. Great value.

Philip and Katie’s studio is lovely! It was so great to come back to after a long day. They are incredibly responsive, kind hosts. This is noted in the description, but be aware that you will hear the sounds of family life fairly early in the morning, so if you are a late sleeper you may want to consider that. (I was up early for work, so it was no issue). Great location on a quiet street, but still walkable (or a VERY short drive) to Main Street and lots of restaurants. Definitely a great stay, and I will book it again the next time I’m in Blacksburg!

We really liked this spot. It was clean and had everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth. We really appreciated that they didn't have any special clean up instructions. Like a hotel we got to stay, leave the place in good shape, but didn't have to do anything extra.

I reserve the home for the celebration of my nephew returning from Sea. It was a very lovely home and very clean . I enjoyed the spacious rooms and the decor of the home. If ever I’m in the area I will definitely reserve this home again. I recommend this home to all who like space. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Three Birds Cottage is conveniently located with good restaurants and cute shops within easy walking distance (I think I’ve parked farther from the door of Target) The town in general is very walkable. The cottage has the charm of a seaside getaway from a novel with all the comforts of home. It offers space for the whole family with 3 district seating areas and a dining room table that seats everyone. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the enclosed front porch reading. The host was fantastic: charming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the area.

First of all, Kayleigh couldn’t have been easier to work with. Responsive, proactive, helpful, the best host. Her house was clean, like new, comfortable, modern, as described, no surprises, well equipped, first class all the way. A great place for a relaxing, family getaway. Property is in a private location, and surrounding views were beautiful. The decks and the fire pit are great places to relax, as well as the large open space downstairs with large TV. The WiFi is strong throughout the house and yard. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms modern and private. The master bathroom is right out of a magazine. We didn’t have the opportunity to try the hot tub. There are vineyards with restaurants close by, Wintergreen is not far, and Charlottesville is an easy half hour drive. I highly recommend, and the whole experience is well worth the price.

We had a pleasant stay at this home. The owner was very kind and helpful throughout our visit. On our last day, our car battery died, and her husband generously came out and gave us a jump — a true lifesaver! The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The beds were very firm, which may suit some preferences but might be a bit much for others. One thing to note is that, as with many older homes, the bathrooms had no counter space, which made getting ready a bit more challenging. Overall, a comfortable stay with thoughtful hosts and a convenient setup.

The place was absolutely perfect. It was convenient, peaceful, complete, and she was very accommodating. Will definitely return for future blacksburg visits!

We had such a Brett time staying at Ali’s place! Her communication couldn’t have been clearer. The house was roomy and comfortable, and she was incredibly helpful and responsive—especially when a medical emergency threatened to derail our adventure. Definitely went above and beyond for us, which was much appreciated! Highly recommend. :)

My family and I were very pleased with our stay here for Christmas! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. We did not encounter any problems during our stay. I would absolutely recommend it for another family, especially during the Holidays.

This beautiful home was exactly what I needed to house my extended family to be close to a graduation venue. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! They were so helpful in EVERY way, truly going above and beyond. Older homes have character, and upkeep can be a challenge. However, here the interior was spotless, and exceeded my expectations, 10/10. The exterior had a couple spots that could use attention, but was overall very nice. Beds: quality mattresses, linens, and pillows! Even the day bed downstairs was super comfy. Kitchen: clean and well-stocked. All the essentials and some extras were available. Backyard: amazing! We made use of as much as we could, weather permitting. The gazebo is a lovely place to gather. And the pickleball court—OMG—we literally spent hours on it! We also played corn hole and other games. All in all, a fantastic weekend, and this home is at the top of my list for Richmond. I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches throughout the space, it truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Sojourn was responsive, kind, and made check-in a breeze. We especially appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Our only complaint would be the parking situation. The garage was a bit confusing, and we had to drive around a few times to locate our assigned spot. Additionally, navigating from the room to the parking spot was tricky, as the hallways were confusing. That said, once we figured it out, it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway.

This was the second time staying at this location. Our family loves it! You can walk to the beach, walk in town to all the shops and restaurants. I can't wait to come back! Chesapeake Properties are awesome to deal with. Thank you again for a great weekend!!

This was an awesome place to create lasting memories with my sisters and our husbands. The condo was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and the beds and pillows were super comfy. Soujorn communicated well and responded in less than an hour when messaged. The location at the beach was scenic and very relaxing after a hectic week. We were pleasantly surprised that Jose Tequila was onsite! The best part was that we could just leave when it was time to go, without a long list of things to do....worry free. We will definitely be back to this gem!
