Fantastic location and very thoughtful host. Clean, modern, wonderfully quiet but still within walking distance of supermarket and nice restaurants and not unimportant... a lot of privacy... The fireplace and private garden made it completely complete. Highly recommend!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Anne’s place. It was clean, airy and beautiful. It was also quiet but yet easily accessible. We found it a good location to visit both Amsterdam or Utrecht. We had ample space and everything we needed was there. The kids especially loved the playground opposite. Highly recommend!

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

we felt very comfortable. the location is fantastic! the house is well equipped. especially, Ingrid and Robert were so easily accessible. unfortunately, the house was quite dusty.. Ingrid also seemed very upset that the cleaning company had cleaned poorly and was accommodating. we still liked it very much! especially the outdoor area and the sauna are fantastic!!!

we really enjoyed our stay at Daphne n Kevin s house,easy check in and nice location,Daphne had kept Amsterdam famous stroopwaffles as our welcome treat which was delicious and very nice everything was clean and properly organised kitchen was well equipped bed was cozy and comfortable Daphne was very helpful and gave us some amazing recommendations for our stay we highly recommend their house

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation for two. :) The place is really beautiful and you feel right at home.

Clean, unusual, renovation apartment is in pastoral place . We visited some interesting places in radius 1-1,5 hour driving: Urc, Enkhuizen, Zuiderzeemuseum, Giethoorn ,Zwolle(Park English Work), Museum de Fundatie/Kasteel Het Nijenhuis, Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. Yasmin’s place was amazing! Unfortunately we had a short stay so we didnt get to experience everything she had to offer but the amenities were great and it was a beautiful location as well. She is also super friendly and communicated well. We would definitely book again.

The apartment and courtyard fully corresponded to the information and published pictures. Very clean, tastefully and lovingly furnished, lots of little extras. Very quiet location, within walking distance to the center. Machteld welcomed us very nicely, is always approachable and has good tips for excursions, food, etc.

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

Very nice stay with very friendly hosts! Also the location is great, close to the center of Barneveld but still completely in the tranquility of the outdoor area. The surroundings are also beautiful, a beautiful area for cycling on the Veluwe.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hottub that we could use for a fee. This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

Mandy-Remko was very friendly, easy to reach and provided us with great tips. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

Loved staying at Danielle’s cabin. She’s a great host and goes above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Beautiful walks all around and a beautiful little town in its self. Would highly recommend for a solo or couple get away and I would definitely stay here again! 5* All around!
