We loved staying in Paula’s apartment. Check-in was super easy as she met us outside and made us feel at home. She recommended several restaurants and had a map with the many things to see and do in Taormina. The apartment is right next to the famous Four Seasons (from White Lotus) with stunning views of Mount Etna and the bay. The apartment is very specious, with a wonderful outdoor terrace leading into a large living space and dining area. There is a good kitchen. There are two nice bedrooms, one with a great view of the bay, and two full baths in the hall. The house is built into the side of the hill which is how you get the great views. There are about 30 steps down to reach the apartment. There are many good restaurants nearby and you are less than a five minute walk from the Duomo and the Cathedral. The car park is also five minutes away. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful base to explore Taormina.

Ilayma’s place is the 3rd floor apartment of her home. While it is true that the pictures accurately reflect the apartment, at Ilayma’s place the quality of the apartment and the views are simply stunning. Taormina on its own is beautiful, at Ilayma’s it is heaven. What really added to the experience was how helpful and considerate Ilayma was as a host. She guided us in to the place with great directions, if we needed restaurant reservations at a busy restaurant she was there to help. She’s lived there 28 years and she knew everyone/everything and was a tremendous host. Best of all, she has that intuitive balance of helpfulness as a host while also perfectly respecting our privacy. Even better was she offers to make breakfast each morning for 15 euros a person. Do it. She’s an amazing cook and the food was amazing. Eggs, bacon, croissants, sweet treats, etc. I came to Taormina for 3 days to visit a beautiful town. I hugged Ilayma as we left - I had made a dear friend.

Vera was really a great host! Easy to communicate with, the place was impressive, really clean and enjoyable. The view from the balcony is simply spectacular! When I come back to Sicily, I will definitely book with Vera!!

The apartment was amazing, very clean and with a nice view from the balcony. Only a short uphill walk to the town centre. Angelo was an amazing host, extremely responsive and very detailed with his answers. I would definitely book the same place if I were to return!
