This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

Super nice and helpful hosts! The family explained everything to us in detail. Unfortunately, we locked ourselves out and were helped in the night!!! The apartment is simply great and the view, a dream, beautiful. It is difficult to find a parking space nearby, if you are lucky there is something free at the indentation on the street, a few meters away. The mosquitoes are a bit annoying, so you should bring a protective agent. Otherwise everything really great, 100% recommendation!

An inviting interior space showcases wooden flooring and features various pieces of furniture, including a wooden chest and a nightstand. A single bed is positioned near a window, allowing natural light to brighten the room. Shelves display books and decorative items along the walls.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Daniella was incredibly helpful always responsive and had great recommendations. The house photos do not do it justice! The outside space is amazing and the inside was clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wonderful food options walking, beach, shops, etc. Would definitely love to come back!

We had an absolutely magical 6 night stay at Pierluigi's place for our honeymoon. The location is definitely the star of the show, the garden and the view, listening to the ocean, being able to swim right together the house. Also being right on the outskirts of Scilla so it felt quiet and private but close enough to easily walk into town. The inside is beautiful as well, it's definitely older and lived in so it's not the same as a fancy hotel, but we preferred the homey feel. The ac worked well but because of the way the house is layed out, the upstairs bedrooms stay much warmer than the downstairs for anyone who needs it cool to sleep. Pierluigi was an amazing host, always responsive and helpful, we enjoyed the boat tour he arranged for us. Overall we would definitely come back to stay again, highly recommend
