We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would have liked to have realized from the description that the outdoor area is far from the house.

The house is very beautiful and is as advertised. The location is perfect, very close to Caminha but in a more secluded area surrounded by nature. Elisabete was very attentive and everything went very well, with a lot of flexibility on her part. I'd love to come back! It's a perfect place to rest.

It was an amazing experience, better than we expected! We were looking for a quiet place for a weekend and Quinta das Tendas was undoubtedly a great option, the silence of nature is what dominates the space! The conditions are impeccable, everything was as described in the listing. Mr. Luís is very friendly and helpful. An experience to repeat and to recommend, without a doubt ☺️🌿

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. As far as we're concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk within a minute to the underlying lake where you can enjoy swimming! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is 1.5 hours away and is well worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation to recharge for a week in nature. The host is also very nice, her father welcomed us nicely, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

Excellent stay. A farm with a magnificent and very well-kept outdoor space. A host, Mr. Rui, who strives to make our stay as rewarding as possible. Sonia does everything to make us feel at home, preparing excellent and varied breakfasts. Alpha, who played with our Leia. Well-located farm to walk around Gerês and excellent to rest and recharge. A place to return to.

We had such a good time. We loved the villa, WIFI was excellent, surroundings were so peaceful. House was very clean and the staff were very attentive. Couldn’t fault our stay, would recommend this place to anyone. Also love Bull the dog, very friendly! Thanks again!

We travelled in a group of 5 , 2 couples +1 adult. The host living in the next house seems only speak Portuguese but very friendly. You can write in English via messaging apps. Communication was not an issue at all

Amazing stay. This place is really cozy, with a stunning view from the bedroom.

This has probably been the been AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The new house built on top of an ancient mill is really special and very welcoming with great attention to detail, the host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our requests and the location of the house allowed both for sightseeing in Guimaraes and Braga, as well as for excursions to the mountains and the sea side. We stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the more we appreciated our living environment in the middle of a flowing river stream.

The home was exactly as pictured, gorgeous views, & pool/home were clean with nice furnishings. There were the expected and unexpected amenities (throw blanket, clothing dry rack, BBQ tools, pool shower, towels for 6, hangers, coffee and sugar). The rooms were bright and sunny, with electrically switched storm shutters to 100% block out sun/street light. Besides the basics, the kitchen included dish rag, sponge, towels, an expresso maker, French press, electric water kettle, decent knives, and the all important wine opener. Europe is not big on paper towels, and we didn't find them here nor at the market (weird). As planned, we were in a slightly remote, quiet area, away from tourists. We enjoyed the town of Vieira do Minho for meals & shopping and some lovely hikes 45min drive away. Paulo was a great host - accommodated our late arrival, met us for a property tour, responded promptly, and was helpful during a short power outage. Loved our stay - hope to return!

We had a great time in this spacious, very clean house, perfectly in line with the photos. A big thank you to Pedro for his warm welcome and for all the good addresses and activities he recommended, which really enriched our stay. We would definitely recommend this listing!

We had a fabulous stay at Josés property. The space was beautifully designed, it had a very zen feel. We felt so relaxed there. It was a perfect spot for visiting Guimarães and Jose was very thorough when we met him, telling us all about his property and the local area. Would highly recommend and would have loved to have stayed longer

Incredible place - serenity on a mountainside. We had the pleasure of staying at Tiago's place as the surrounding forest turned orange in line with the season Tiago went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, can only recommend this place

Our stay was wonderful! The house was exactly as shown in the photos: clean, cozy and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable, and there was everything we needed to feel at home — from kitchen utensils to small details like coffee and tea available. The location was also perfect and the host was extremely attentive and always responded very quickly to our messages, giving good recommendations about the area and ensuring that everything went well during our stay. We definitely recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again on a future visit!

Very nice apartment with great views of the mountains. Just in case, there would be the oven - we didn't need it. But the bright living room with either open or closed glass front is simply the hit. Very tranquil place in a special village. Good starting point for outdoor activities. If you like rural Portugal in the mountains, this is the place to be!

Mário and Judite were amazing hosts! Really responsive and friendly and provided great recommendations and really easy face to face check in and out! The space was pristine and everything was thought of. Everything in the space was of great quality from the appliances to the linens. The pool area is lovely and gardens well kept, the fire pits and bbq are ready to use straight away too! I would 100% recommend this to anyone. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with everything we could have needed :)

Perfect for a private peaceful getway! It is located is a small village, but still very quiet. The view is amazing and the place is comfortable and full of light! We walked 2 minutes down the to swim in the river every morning. The owner is very responsive and aways helpful.

What a WONDERFUL stay at this charming farmhouse! From the moment we arrived it was perfect! The property is so beautiful with its lovely gardens, fruit trees & the view of the mountains. We spent the majority of our time, when we were not out exploring, enjoying the pool & having all our dinners outside under the covered outdoor grilling area. We took advantage of the grill & enjoying pizza (yes, there is a fabulous pizza oven!). The house was so comfortable, clean & the kitchen had everything we needed & more. Carlos & Christina are stunning hosts....so kind & friendly & gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area...restaurants, villages, waterfalls, etc. We CAN'T WAIT to return! Obrigada for a wonderful stay! (note - if you are driving be mindful as directly accessing the property can be tight if you have a larger car)

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

we have just returned from a 10 day stay at this villa , and all I can say is that this villa is absolutely stunning with a mountain view , inside is finished to a very high standard inside set in beautiful surroundings , the host Nuno is more than happy to help and advise you while you stay there , we absolutely loved our stay there and would definitely be coming back , amazing villa
