The place was well above what we initially thought. We were really blown by its beauty, layout, space, and cleanliness. It's a special place with all the vegetation almost all perfectly selected to give the environment an almost worldly peaceful feel. Slight reservations were the limited trash bags provided and lack of cleaning supplies and toilet paper, but all else was what was described or better. The host was accessible and easy to communicate with. He was friendly and approachable and just an overall nice guy. Overall our impression was that it was a perfect place for a group looking to get away, spend time together and have space to explore and return to calmness.

Where we really felt at home ☺️ Alexandre cannot receive us in person but the check in was done in a very practical way. The location is fantastic for those who want a few days out of reality. We found everything extremely clean, tidy and very cozy. Comfortable bed/sofa and ideal space to rest. Very nice outdoor area with a great view. We loved everything, especially the "treats" on arrival for breakfast and of course Zarco loved the snacks as well. Of those places that although we have a lot to know around, we just want to stay in the coziness 😊

Very friendly host, advice on restaurants in Arcos, walk on passadicos . Region to discover by Geres, Soajo and Lindoso for espigheiros, but traditional granaries. Village of Sistelo, Moncao, Vila nova de Cerveira. Don't forget Ponte de Lima. Taste the wineho verde produced from the region, as well as the arroz de sarrabulho. Quinta Lamoso is a green setting, quiet, swimming pool ,river and "guinguette" 15 minutes walk.

Pedro’s place was absolute perfection! Quiet and private, space for all of us (two families of four), great pool and less than ten mins to Caminha with shops and restaurants. Pedro answered all our questions, gave us local tips and was quick to reply and very friendly.

Paulo and Vincent are very welcoming, available and attentive to their hosts. Their houses are identical to the photos and descriptions given. You'll be transported to a peaceful and idyllic environment. I recommend for those looking for a quiet space within nature. Five minutes drive from shops and restaurants. Less than 15 minutes from the center of Viana. They will advise you in order to best visit their area. Thank you for the welcome.

At first we requested the normal room, but being there with the baby we requested a bigger and much better one. Lovely apartment, super comfortable, with huge bed and all the amenities. Very complete kitchen. Nice design and very clean. The rural environment is very quiet, although no roads to walk or anything to do in the surroundings. Guimaraes 15 min drive. Very clean and nice pool and fantastic restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay, will book again when we return to the area.

José's estate is beautiful with stunning views of the hills. The accommodation is very comfortable. And the location is ideal for exploring the local area. José was always very available. Breakfast is included, hearty and delicious. I would highly recommend this rental.

A great place! Right in the middle of town, a walk away from the harbour. The lock box made everything really easy. The car garage is very tight, so something to be aware of if you are driving in. Otherwise, perfect!

Myself and my 2 kids stayed in the apartment for two weeks. The newly renovated apartment is very spacious for the size that it is, and immaculately presented upon arrival. The location is very central, which certainly has its benefits. Despite its proximity to all the entertainment, the apartment is tucked away and is very well insulated from the noise and light. Our visit was during the summer holiday, so it can get very busy. My only criticism is that parking directly outside was a challenge. However, this isn’t much of a problem if you don’t intend to drive around and if you don’t mind to walk a bit! A super practical and comfortable stay…. I’ll certainly be visiting again :) Lu

It was a privilege to have known D. Fátima. Always very attentive to our well-being. It helped us with everything we needed. A fantastic breakfast with a special mime (natural orange juice), which was provided to us by D's companion. Fátima. We did this little bike adventure, which were stored in the garage of the house. Really enjoyed the hostel and would stay again. It was focused around the surfing in the morning which was great, Marco is a great teacher and you get plenty of time on the waves. Raquel is a lovely host and the food is excellent, there's a bit of a lack of local things to do and places to eat within walking distance but the nearest city isn't too far if you want to explore in the afternoons/evenings. Would totally reccomend the hostel to anyone wanting to learn how to surf, many thanks : )

Our stay at Quinta Dos Carqueijais was a perfect 10/10! We chose the Villa das Oliveiras, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. It truly feels like you're immersed in the forest with beautiful views of the lake. The entire property is seamlessly integrated with nature, creating an idyllic setting for complete disconnection. The accommodation itself is stunning, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable—far better than what you might expect from the photos. The breakfast is plentiful, with great attention to detail. Additionally, we had the chance to enjoy the spa facilities, which include a jacuzzi, sauna, massages, and a heated indoor pool, all at a very competitive rate. Quinta Dos Carqueijais is the perfect place to unwind for a weekend getaway or to celebrate a special occasion near the Peneda-Gerês National Park

We had a great time at Ann and her husband's place. They are lovely hosts, who made us feel very comfortable. The pool is a big plus. It feels like home. Above all, do not change anything and continue to make the guests who are visiting your beautiful home happy. we would have liked to continue the stay. Everything was perfect.

Casas da Li is a very cozy space, in a mountain village, at 500m altitude and so with fabulous views. Of course, the road is difficult by the curves, but with a good pavement. It's worth it for the contact with nature and the unique views. The facilities are very good, as are the breakfast. It was a good experience.

The room was spacious and spotless, the place is nice and quiet and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the pool anymore because it was quite cool. I would recommend it to families with little ones who want to hike around the area, which is very beautiful.

Len and Isabelle are natural hosts. From the moment we arrived to departure, the pair made us to feel welcomed and at home. Their location is a true BnB and I found myself in peace during the stay. If it was the roosters crowing in the distance or my imagination chasing the thought of who built the home in the 1700's, I truly enjoyed this stay.

Angelique is a great host and the place she has with the stay is lovely. The village is very cute and on her property she has a nice swimming pool and wonderful places to sit. She wanted to take care of everything very well for us and she did. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend this beautiful place to everyone, to completely relax and unwind.
