Vacation rentals with a pool in Vilar da Veiga

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would have liked to have realized from the description that the outdoor area is far from the house.

We travelled in a group of 5 , 2 couples +1 adult. The host living in the next house seems only speak Portuguese but very friendly. You can write in English via messaging apps. Communication was not an issue at all

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. As far as we're concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk within a minute to the underlying lake where you can enjoy swimming! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is 1.5 hours away and is well worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation to recharge for a week in nature. The host is also very nice, her father welcomed us nicely, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

There were six of us in the house for a week and we had a fantastic time! Unfortunately, it was rather cold outside and only rained almost throughout, so we used the great outdoor area with pool very little. But even in the rain you can relax there superbly: inside by the fireplace on the couch, with board games at the large dining table, at the billiards or darts. Outside, the covered area by the stone oven and barbecue area even in the rain offers a cozy place, we grilled there, baked pizza and did sports together. The view from the pool and the stone table upstairs is at least as beautiful as in the photos, fantastic! The beds are super comfortable, we slept great. Dogs bark next door, but we quickly got used to it. The location is already very far from the beach and shopping, but no problem with car. César was an excellent host, even welcomed us at night and was always available and super nice!

We had a great time, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very nice and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real sense of privacy. Access to the pool is very nice when it's hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a vacation! We'll definitely be back on an upcoming trip to the area. Thank you André for hosting us and see you soon!

The environment and listing match the listing description. The place is peaceful for those looking for tranquility, mountain views and a lake, swimming pool on site, football and volleyball court and an air of play for children. To go to restaurants and center you need a car. You are about a 30 minute drive from Parc Nacional du Gères. I highly recommend this place. Hosts are very responsive and respond very quickly to expectations and requests. I'll definitely be back.

Very large and nice ground floor apartment. More beautiful in person than what you expect based on the photos. Everything is available, 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces. Well-maintained seats, lots of cooking utensils. Beautiful pool and well-kept communal garden. Very Portuguese feeling. If you want to do different activities, that can be a bit annoying because you only have 1 key to the apartment.

The accommodation was very spacious and there was ample space to unfold. The ambience is rather functional and not particularly homely but we lacked nothing. You are privately accommodated there, but also anonymous. You won't be making contacts there. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine washes well. The wifi router is located in the property and the internet is fast. I particularly liked the large sliding wall with which you can protect the living area from the sun. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, with the gastronomy in the area offering little change. Shopping facilities are a 15-20 min walk. After all, you have a vacation and plenty of time. We felt comfortable and the place was absolutely worth its money. Thank you

Francisca, in addition to being extremely friendly, is super available and helps in everything that is needed. All the spaces in the house were clean and prepared to welcome us. We really enjoyed the experience, so we highly recommend it!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

A true haven of peace and regeneration! I had the privilege of enjoying an absolutely memorable stay in a simply wonderful place. The combination of the surrounding nature with the available amenities — swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna — provided unique moments of well-being and tranquility. It was an experience marked by peace, silence and comfort, perfect for disconnecting from the world and renewing energy. The moments together were even more special thanks to the welcoming and thoughtful atmosphere of this space. I leave with the feeling of having really rested, body and mind. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I undoubtedly hope to return.

We had an excellent family holiday at this lovely Airbnb! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to local attractions. Our host was friendly and responsive, making the whole experience even better.
