Beachfront vacation rentals in Vila Nova de Gaia

A very well-equipped house in a lovely seaside village, larger than the photos make it seem. Antonio greeted us like we were old friends and was really helpful with a couple of logistical issues caused by our late arrival. Miramar is a smashing little spot with a couple of nice eateries. 20 minutes on the train from central Porto and half an hour walk down the beach to the more bustling village of Aguda.

La casa es pequeña, pero está muy bien aprovechada y todo estaba muy limpio. Igual o mejor que en las fotos. Está ubicada a pocos pasos de la playa, lo cual es ideal. Las camas son muy cómodas y permiten un buen descanso. La cocina, aunque compacta, está totalmente equipada, y además cuenta con muchos utensilios. Dispone también de varios útiles como plancha, secador, ventilador... Lo que buscas y necesitas, lo encuentras. La decoración le da un toque único y acogedor. Rui fue siempre atento y muy amable. ¡Muy recomendable!

Des hôtes d’une très grande gentillesse avec des attentions touchantes pour les voyageurs, la communication est fluide, très souriante et sympathique. Le gîte est très propre , bien équipé et correspond totalement aux photos. Nous avons utilisés les bus, train et uber pour nos déplacements ( courses et visites) . Je recommande chaleureusement !

Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft! Super ausgestattete und kinderfreundliche Wohnung. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Raquel ist eine super herzliche Gastgeberin, die uns persönlich in Empfang genommen hat und gut erreichbar war. Sie hat uns außerdem unterstützt als wir ein Problem mit unserem Mietwagen hatten. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die tolle Dachterrasse und die Nähe zum Strand. Gerne wieder :)

La maison est située en bord de mer (la plage est à moins de 5 min de marche) et donne sur un jardin. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour et avons pu facilement visiter les environs (Gaïa, Aveiro, Porto). Mention spéciale pour Hugo qui est très disponible et dispense de bons conseils.

The place has beautiful personalized decoration, very comfortable, spectacular dinner table chairs :) The only thing, for people who have “problems climbing stairs”, you a have everything you need (bedroom, complete wc, kitchen, etc.) downstairs, but the best terrace with a sea spectacular sea view, along with 2 other bedrooms, is on the second floor.. The 5 star host Tiago, was always available. Surely recommend!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison dune, la literie est parfaite, et l appartement très propre. La terrasse est très agréable, face à l ocean avec une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil. Il y a une belle balade à faire le long de la plage, des restaurants et bars accessibles à pied. La cuisine est très bien, il y a un four et même un lave vaisselle. IL manque juste quelques accessoires de cuisine comme une essoreuse à salade, il n y a qu un seul saladier par exemple, ça manque un peu d équipements pour des personnes qui veulent cuisiner vraiment. Et le seul point négatif est le bruit de la route, des voitures et des motos passent très vite la nuit, c est moins dérangeant la fenêtre fermée mais il a fait chaud, et nous dormions la fenêtre ouverte. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et la maison est conforme à la description.

I loved my stay in Bruno's beautiful apartment. It was a real home from home. Beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. It had everything you could need. The building is quiet and well located for public transport to Porto or to the beach . It's possible to walk to the beach and the nature reserve. Bruno is a fantastic host. Very responsive and gave clear instructions. I will definitely be back.

Great stay, good location and as described. Amazing support after our stay. We forgot a tablet in the appartment and they were amazing helping us out to have it ship to our home. Very efficient and supportive.

Zona sossegada com dunas e mar à vista, uma ótima cama e um ótimo chuveiro, foram elementos fundamentais da nossa experiência neste apartamento. O mais desagradável foi a comunicação com o responsáveis do alojamento: todas as pessoas com quem troquei mensagens foram gentis e diligentes a responder mas o facto de nos remeterem para um site a pedir mais dados e mais procedimentos (além daqueles previstos aqui no Airbnb) deixou-me irritado e frustrado. Neste processo de troca de mensagens tive de fazer o que considero um esforço desproporcional para uma simples reserva. A bem dos próximos hóspedes, espero que possam melhorar na simplificação do processo! Agradeço a flexibilidade e amabilidade que tiveram no check-in e no check-out!

truly fantastic experience staying in Manuel's studio. the studio has all it needs, amazing light, massive rooftop terrace with a sea view and some handy chairs and lounge chairs. location is great, with fun beach bars within walking distance, the lagune for bird watching , some handy shops and nice restaurants. Manuel was a great host, quick communication, very clear. thanks Manuel!

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous week at Lettia. It is about 25 minutes away from downtown Porto and right across the river from Matosinhos; which is a lovely city in itself. There are so many restaurants in the area you can eat in or get take out. The villa was exactly as pictured and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We had breakfast delivered everyday which consisted of an abundance of breads and pastries and fresh orange juice. They also stocked the fridge prior to our arrival with cheese, fruit, water, milk, ham and yogurt. You are not too far from the beach and can enjoy Leca da Palmeira or the beach in Matosinhos. The e-bikes were great to use to go the grocery store. Rita and her Dad made us feel right at home and were extremely responsive. Thank you for a terrific stay.

Séjour Parfait et logement très propre !

Chris and Alex were lovely hosts and made sure we knew how everything worked in the apartment and also informed us of things to do in Porto and how to get around! The apartment has everything we needed and everything was as advertised! Beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean and cozy! Chris and Alex both went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was the best it could be. Great hosts and would highly recommend!

we had a fantastic stay the apartment was very tidy plenty of space areas available outside to sun bathe or shade in and a great location Hugo communication was fab we would definatley reccomend and would stay again !

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in Porto, dafür war die Unterkunft sehr schön. Allerdings ist die Anreise aufgrund der vielen Treffen nicht für jedermann geeignet, das muss man wissen. Gut auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Toller Blick, sehr schön eingerichtet. Vor der Tür ist eine Baustelle, die uns früh geweckt hat, aber das ist in Großstädten ja normal ;) Sehr nettes Personal Vorort.

A wonderful stay! The place is about half an hour from Porto, easy drive. As expected right on the beach with a view that we can never get tired of. Smooth check in and the place was super clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there are shutters to block the light if you like to sleep in. Noise from board walk doesn't get to the bed rooms. Kitchen was great so easy breakfasts, coffee and reheating food. Great access to beach toys and umbrellas for beach days. The host was very accommodating and responsive which we hugely appreciated. There are lots of lovely restaurants around and we spent a couple days in the city, some in the hills and some enjoying the coast. It's a perfect mix of city break with the beach air. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommended.

Excellent séjour chez Antonio, le bateau est au calme et proche de tout : restos, plage, activités nautiques ... Antonio est très accueillant et explique tout bien. L'endroit, est super propre, les draps sont frais. Une retraite idéale du monde pour quelques jours. Je reviendrai !

We had a great time in Porto! The appartment is right next to the beach and just 10 minutes by car away from the city center. We were very glad about all the equipment in the appartment like herbs, oil etc in the kitchen, cremes, lotions, showergel etc in the bathroom, many tovels in general, bags for shopping, some stuff for the beach and much more. The check in was flexible and Maria was so lovely. She showed us some maps about Porto and told us about some events. She also left some sweets for us. Everything was clean, TV and Wifi worked perfectly. Probably my next vacation will be in another country to explore to world, but I highly recommend this appartment to my family, friends and all of you.

très bel appartement fidèle à la description et aux photos Antonio est très accueillant et arrangeant la vue de l'appartement est juste incroyable les attentions d antonio comme le café les dosettes lave vaisselle et disette lessive sont un plus très appréciable je recommande ce logement

It was a really nice and pleasant stay. The view is great Same as the apartment. It was nicely clean. The kitchen was one of the best parts. It was very nice to find even some spices and other stuff there which you would not usually buy when you only stay a few days. All in all a good and nice stay would recommend.

Spacious apartment with large balcony giving a glimpse of the Douro through the trees. Major benefit was secure onsite parking and accessible public transport to central Porto within 100 yds. Apartment well equipped and everything worked though I suspect the oven might need some TLC before long.
