Amazing view over the lake. Exactly like described. Access to own catwalk from which you can jump in the water and a rowboat to explore the lake and the three islands. Tranquil nature all Ground. About 90 min drive from Oslo for a daytrip. Grocery shopping possibilities about a 15 min drive away. Nicest holiday home i have been to so far. Absolute recommendation. Would come back any time.

THE VIEW & being right on the fjord. Our family enjoyed every minute in Thori’s cabane. The row boat, the terrace by the lake and the tiny cabane were fantastic. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need. Comfort of the beds could be improved. Car is mandatory to stay there. Thori and her husband were discreet hosts and always available if needed.

We really loved our stay in Heidi’s cottage! It was even more beautiful in person as you have a whole place with one main cottage and 2 small cabins/sheds. We even got visited by several sheep’s and cows, which made it even better! If you love a very simple and slow lifestyle by getting your own water from the river, no WiFi, heating the place up with your own wood and having an amazing view - this is your call! 10/10 would recommend (we didn’t want to leave)!

Kurz vor Ankunft kamen im Reiseführer alle nützlichen Infos, wie Schlüsselkasten, Sauna und Poolanleitung etc. Wir haben uns sehr gut zurecht gefunden und es war sogar noch schöner wie auf den Fotos! Die Gastgeber haben immer schnell und sehr freundlich auf Fragen geantwortet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!☺️

We spent one night in the cabin. Good bus connection with a short hike. Incredibly beautiful area, perfect for hiking, close to the capital. Despite 10 degrees Celsius in the center of Oslo there was still snow and ice on the trails. Keep this in mind when traveling in early spring. The cabin is heated so there is no need to light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped.

I am convinced this is the best cabin in all of the fjords! The location simply cannot be beat and the cabin was so thoughtfully built and furnished. I traveled here with my husband and two children (6 & 8) and it was the perfect size. Everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. We opted to use the boat one day and are so glad we did. It allowed us to see the fjords in a unique and personal way. Amazing memories getting up close with nature. There isn’t a single thing I would change about this place. We met the owner and his son who were very courteous. The owner gave us the recommendation to drive the snow road which we did - it had only recently opened. We were so grateful for the recommendation. Book it, you won’t regret it.

We are a family of four with two teenage boys. This was the third year in a row we spent a long weekend at Johan and Reina’s place. It is a spacious, well equipped house without being generic or over-done as so many AirBnbs tend to be. It is just authentic, lovable and personal - as are its host who are experienced, generous hosts in the best meaning of the word. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who wants to experience Swedish skjärgård, its quiet and idyllic nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly as the pictures and description said it would be. The balconies are a huge bonus and it’s close to many eating places and activities. Most places are walkable from the condo. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating. One of the best hosts I’ve experienced through Airbnb.

The apartment is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The location is really great…near shops and restaurants as well as being convenient to tourist attractions. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and in such a great location. A beautiful walk along the waterfront to the city in 15 minutes. Great coffee and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The apartment was clean and spacious and the hosts were wonderful and helpful. I would highly recommended this place!

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

Vi har hyrt detta fina hus förut och kände oss direkt som hemma! Det har gjorts några uppgraderingar sen vi var där sist och det uppskattas ! Du behöver bil för att t komma dit. Mycket nöjda kunder 👍

A magical location, friendly & helpful host. We would recommend it for people who love nature, water, fishing, boating & hiking. As we came during the off season, it was very quiet & peaceful. We did some spring cleaning I guess, but Lene was very responsive & met us to help.

Een sfeervolle, comfortabele accommodatie op een prachtige plek. Het huis en het eiland vormen een bijna magische combinatie. Het is er heerlijk rustig. Met de postboot vanaf Fjällbacka bryggen (reserveer van tevoren en ben op tijd, want hij kan iets eerder komen dan gepland), dat is al een uitstapje op zich. Een kwartier varen. Het huis is met goede materialen verbouwd. De slaapkamer is een beetje een uitdaging, gezien de trap en de beperkte hoogte boven (je moet kruipen). Maar er is ook een slaapbank. Er zijn verschillende plekken waar je zo de zee in kunt lopen, heel helder water. Je kunt er ook prachtig wandelen. Loop ook eens naar de andere kant van het eiland. De sauna is comfortabel. De uitzichten zijn prachtig, zeker ook bij zonsondergang. Kortom, een topper!

Anne’s place is a hidden gem! It looks good in the picture but it’s even better in real. The location is ideal with mountains, lake, trails, parks for kids and groceries. The home was athletically decorated, the beds were very comfortable and the living space was cozy with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Anne has been very kind and welcomed us to the apartment warmly. She shared local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable. We would love to revisit! Thanks much Anne ❤️

Incredibly lovely little boathouse. Perfect for two people. Everything was as described. The surrounding area was super quiet. The big window (can be fully opened) with the views of the lake are the highlight of the apartment. The host is super responsive and all instructions (check in/check out) were clear. Would 100% come here again for a weekend getaway.

It was a great stay. Carina was kind and the place was lovely. I will definitely stay later :)

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.
