Chalet vacation rentals in Viken

We were there last year, knew what to expect and chose the house again for exactly that reason. It's just everything you need, it's very cozy and comfortable, and the skiing conditions are perfect. Sitting outside on the sofa in the sun in the afternoon is simply irreplaceable :-) Only the communication for the appointment for the booking was a bit difficult, as we come from Germany and are dependent on vacation/ferry trips. But it might also be due to the automatic translation. Unfortunately, a last-minute cancellation on our side was no longer taken into account in the price. But apart from these formalities: the house and Bjornar are great, I would go back any time, perfect for a group of 8 people for skiing in Kvitfjell!

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. Everything is available… you can really feel at home. Lisbeth was really super straightforward and helped us with everything. The bedroom facing the street is a bit noisy during the day, but completely quiet from the evening on. The small cottage on Lisbeth's family farm is really a wonderful place to stop for those who want to explore the nature and area of Hemsedal.

We, 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs, had a wonderful week in Lise's house where nothing is missing. The view is wonderful and the tranquility is a treat! I can recommend the place to anyone without restriction. We will be happy to come back.

Always a pleasure to stay at Lode's cabin! Great location, in a great cabin with a fantastic view! Very good communication with a great host. As returning guests, we will surely book again for the future.

Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

The house is beautifully situated with a stunning view. It was all there and great.

Heidi’s cabin was a perfect place for our stay in Beitostølen. Close to shops, restaurants, slopes, and trails, but also secluded and quiet. Very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Heidi was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Would absolutely return!

Large and roomy cabin, perfect for our large group of guests.

The cabin is great, really cosy and has the perfect layout for two families sharing. The bedrooms are in a separate wing from the living rooms and kitchen, which we really liked. Plenty of storage space to keep clutter away during our stay. The jacuzzi is great. The only problem is that the address listed isn’t the correct one. The correct address on google maps is Fageråsringen 636. This didn’t just make it very difficult to find the place, but we had believed we would be straying very close to the restaurants and shops in Fageråsen, which was not the case. We still had a great time though!

The house is in a very good location -you can reach the Ski lift very easy. There is lots of room for families and very comfortable for 3 families to share. The owner is very responsive and helpful.I would highly recommend them as hosts and the property with great amenities and location. We had a great time

It's hard not to have your hands over your head after our skiing holiday in Hafjell. Christopher and Snædis have a great cabin/apartment here, and they've just made it easy for a family with children to be there. The beds were made up when we arrived, there were delicious towels and soaps, there was wood for the wood-burning stove and there were toys for the kids. In addition, it is only a snowball throw from all the cool things in Favn. Huge recommendation from here!

Beautiful house in a top location, quiet location but close to all necessary facilities such as restaurants and ski lift. Actually it was even more beautiful than in the photos.

This was the most beautiful home - amazing hikes all around you with easy access to the lovely village of Roa and access to many other wonderful trips around Oslo. It was so peaceful staying here. Cecile and Eivind were absolutely lovely and made this trip so very special. It was a once in a life time visit that we will remember forever. Thank you Cecile and Eivind!

The place is really good for larger groups - we were a group of 10 adults and 7 kids. For such groups it's ideal that the house is large and divided into different "zones" allowoing you to retract to your own zone. The actual kitchen is a bit small for such a large house - other than that, the facilities were great. The outdoor spa did not work when we were there.

Great stay in beautiful surroundings. The cabin is privately located, with a lot of nature around. For those of us who love the outdoors, this cabin was great to spend Easter on. We thanked you for your stay, and can highly recommend this airbnd ’☺️one from us!

The cabin was amazing – very cozy and well planned, with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the sauna and the cold water in front. The area around the cabin is beautiful. We had a great time and felt very relaxed. Highly recommended!

Paul's House/Cabin was our first experience in mountaint area. He helped us so nicely and explained all things nicely. He recommend us surroundings activities and suggest the activities further for Flam and Gudvengen. Me and my family enjoyed the stay very much.

We have spent one week in the cabin of Aart to enjoy the tranquility and go skiing a bit. The cabin is high standard and the location is unashamed with amazing nature. Aart has described everything from directions to practical information in detail so nothing was left to chance. The cabin is very practical and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. We spent a wonderful week at the home in the hamlet of Djupviken, just outside Bengtsfors. The house is pastorally located in a valley on a large lake. Hanneke is friendly and helpful and responds quickly to any questions. In addition, there was a nice and tasty welcome package ready upon arrival. Everything is spotless and tidy. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped and it is very cozy sitting at the large table. The very spacious balcony is wonderful for sunbathing and eating, or spotting deer and starry in the evening. We have further used the Zodiac with motorbike to cross the lake. You walk right into the woods for a nice but sturdy (hills!) walk. Tips for the area: The restaurant Rosellmagasinet with nice lake terrace in Bengtsfors, the climbing forest of nearby Dalsland Aktiviteter and renting bicycles at Dalsland Experience for beautiful trips along the many lakes.

We had a lovely long weekend in Berit's cabin:) Incredibly good communication along the way, arrived at the heated cabin that we really appreciated! The cabin has everything you need and more, we would love to come again :)

We had a wonderful stay. We didn't miss anything and we felt very comfortable. The equipment and location of the house is great, perfect for relaxing in nature. Noortje has given many helpful tips and ideas and responded promptly to questions. All around we were very satisfied and would recommend it without hesitation!
