Really an experience to stay at the summer cottage! We just had a little bad luck with the weather, so it was quite cold, the wind blows through, but it was also exotic. But remember to bring plenty of clothes, and be prepared for the fact that it can get cold. Beyond that, great! Very fun to see the amazing garden at Hovelsrud farm, Marianne was a brilliant host and very nice :)

Small farm in scenic surroundings, where the animals are allowed to walk approximately freely. Pick eggs for breakfast, scratch the mini breeze. Wake up to hanegal. With the canoe you can paddle several kilometers The bathroom is easy, without a shower, but the bath staircase and the delicious water do the trick. There's a gas grill there there there too. An eldorado for animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Forest, water & mountains. Taxi boat to Lyngør with more. 15 min drive to Tvedestrand, with 5 different grocery stores and free outdoor water park. 4 min to the convenience store.

This is an old and uniq cabin that was build in 1900. For several years it was used in the summer by milkmaids that had their animals up there. A cabin with soul! Without electricity the cabin is simple- you will get a resting heartrate pretty fast. The cabin is 1100m above sea level and have an untouched and spectacular nature around with several fishingwaters. Since the area is private there are no marked trails around but the possibilities for hiking is endless. Welcome to the mountains!

Welcoming, cozy and nicely arranged accommodation that was fantastic! Walking distance to the sea and close to Daftö, Saltö, etc. Easy to find activities both in the local area and in Strömstad. We're super happy!

We had 2 nights at Anne Lien's beautiful house. The house was comfortable, very homely, friendly furnished, personal. The location is really sublime, quiet, cared for and pampering. We made a tour so had to go further, but actually wanted to stay longer from the first minute. We had pleasant and quick contact with the host, she is lovingly involved in the family house. Highly recommended!!
