Waterfront vacation rentals in Victoria & Alfred Waterfront

This is one of the most beautiful apartments I’ve ever stayed in. Its view of the canal in the building, the proximity to the waterfront, which is a fantastic world renowned shopping area. It’s modern sparkling clean tastefully furnished and equipped with artful and sensible amenities to make for a comfortable luxury stay. Sheree was very responsive ; went over and above to accommodate our booking needs by quickly affecting a refund for an overbooked stay contacting us throughout and demonstrating flexibility when it was needed. A joyful honest easy going and professional host ! We had a beautiful stay and look forward to going back! This will definitely be our stay of choice going forward. Thank you Sheree!

We had a wonderful three weeks at Linda's place. Linda is super responsive and helpful. The building is very secure. There are two large windows that open to a quiet inner courtyard. In the courtyard is the lap pool and also a cafe which serves delicious menu for breakfast and lunch. The Wi-Fi was excellent for both of us to work efficiently. The location is perfect, easy 10-15 min walks to the Bo-Kaap, the Waterfront, Museums, and the Greenmarket Square, and less than a 5 min walk for groceries. Perfect. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nick & Tanya’s place was just as described and so much more. Their place is beautiful, an oasis in the beautiful CPT, it has all the amenities you would need whether you want to stay in or have a day out. The views are breathtaking, it’s probably one of the highlights of the place. Nick and Tanya are probably one of the best host experiences I have had on Airbnb, they were understanding and flexible. We really had a great time, I definitely recommend this place.

This home has absolutely stunning views. The sunrises from the space were unparalleled. The space is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Aissa, the host, was an absolute pleasure. She is extremely responsive and flexible. I had an incident where I left my phone in an Uber. Aissa assisted me for hours (well into the next morning) until my phone was recovered. She lives in the property next door which was convenient as she is able to attend to any issues you may have. The view from the bedroom is stunning. I am not a morning person but let me tell you- I intentionally woke up early every morning to catch that sunrise. Beautiful space and absolutely lovely host. We had a fantastic two-night stay at Simon’s place. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Simon was always responsive, available, and very helpful, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A hidden gem! Amazing views out to the ocean and easy access to the beach. We loved our stay and will book again. Not an issue for us but there are lots of steps from the road down to the property which might be trouble if you are less mobile.

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

We had an amazing time staying at Colin’s place. He was a great host that was attentive and always helpful whenever we had a question or needed something. Communication was seamless throughout our stay. The place was beautifully furnished with a modern, stylish touch and had all the essentials we could ask for. It felt like home away from home. The location was absolutely perfect - right near the top of Kloof Street, with easy access to some of Cape Town’s best cafes, restaurants and attractions.

The second time we have booked this house, and it was just as great as it was the first time. The house is huge, with all the things you need for a week or two. The outside area is lovely the whole day, and the rooms are tastefully furnished, and has great art. Very efficient and friendly communication with Roelof, including many good tips on restaurant and things to do.

Zebra house exceeded our expectations in every way. This lovely, old and characterful house is beautifully decorated with art pieces; the kitchen was cosy and the beds were wonderfully comfortable with high quality linens. The Bo Kaap neighbourhood is central for many activities and has some great cafes and restaurants. Helet greeted us on arrival and give us lots of information about the area and Cape Town generally. We had a fabulous stay and would love to return.

Lovely property with view of sea and mountains. The private pool deck was great and the sauna a novel bonus. The table on terrace and braai were sheltered despite a howling wind during our stay. This house is a magical place. The views are spectacular. The owner is amazing and responsive. His property manager was available and understanding. The house itself is in pristine condition, caters to your every need. The bathrooms, linen and crockery was exceptionally clean. Overall, just a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

My stay at Bianca Jade’s home in Cape Town was absolutely incredible. We were warmly greeted by Happiness, who was very helpful and kind throughout our stay. The place is even bigger and better than the pictures suggest—spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. Not to mention, the views from the balcony at sunset were stunning. The location couldn’t be better—just a stone’s throw from great food, the Waterfront, shopping, and all the must-see spots in the city. Truly felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Fantastic views. Comfortable bedrooms and great ablutions. Close to many restaurants and for sports mad world class promenade to run awesome swimming pool to train and great cycling routes. Happy space for the fat triathletes and people who love sea sunsets

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! The Milnerton ocation was perfect – just across from the beach and with a stunning swimming pool that overlooks Table Mountain. It was the ideal mix of relaxation and breathtaking views. I travelled with my parents, husband, and our 1-year-old daughter, and the space was comfortable and family-friendly. The host went the extra mile by providing a crib, which made things so much easier for us. The apartment was clean, stylish, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We loved taking walks along the beach and watching the sunset over the ocean. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to unwind in a scenic, peaceful spot close to the heart of Cape Town.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning apartment in Cape Town, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the stylish decor and the incredible views of the ocean — truly a postcard-perfect backdrop. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly every night. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to shops, cafes, and the V&A Waterfront. I also felt very safe in the building, which had excellent security and friendly, helpful staff. The host was welcoming, communicative, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

The 3 of us enjoyed our 6 night stay! We were able to easily walk to the V&A Waterfront (20 minutes), Bo-Kaap and to the historic district. Spar market and great restaurants are a few minutes away walking. The flat is a corner unit on the 7th floor with a full on view of table mountain. I drank my coffee each morning on the little veranda enjoying the amazing view. The 24/7 reception staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a late flight out and were able to store our luggage with them. We would stay here again if we return to Cape Town. Thanks Ricardo!
