Vacation rentals with a patio in Vicopisano

The place has the most gorgeous views and it is absolutely quiet - except for bird song. Perfect for relaxation. I went swimming in the pool every morning. We were able to explore Northern Tuscany, using La Lavanda as a base. One just has to be prepared for a pretty scary drive up and down the mountain. But one gets used to it. Sabrina welcomed us and was really, really helpful. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic stay in a great location, right in the heart of the city center of Lucca. The apartment matched the description perfectly. It was especially convenient for anyone studying at LIS (Lucca Italian School). The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting with luggage on both arrival and departure. The host was also very responsive whenever needed. The balcony was a big plus - as you are on the third floor, but you can step outside any time. We really enjoyed the birds outside. This place is highly recommended, and we would stay again the future.

Very central location, apartment was very modern and clean. Enjoyed our stay but would highlight that the apartment is hard to access with large luggage and/or elderly guests, otherwise would highly recommend.

Matteo’s apartment is exactly as described and was exactly what we need for our short trip to Pisa. It’s 10-15 mins walk to Pisa central station and 20-30 mins walk to the leaning tower. As a host Matteo is very responsive and gave good tips and advices for what i needed: place for a pacifier for my baby, place to eat, how to best get around. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. De rust op de locatie is fijn, maar je bent ook snel in de stad of leuke kustplaatsen als je toe bent aan meer reuring. Absoluut een aanrader!

Waren für eine Nacht dort, da am nächsten Morgen unsere Fähre nach Sardinien ablegte. Der Hafen ist nur ca. 3 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Alessandro ist ein netter, offener Gastgeber. Persönlicher Empfang und gute Ratschläge. Man hat sich in der Wohnung sehr sicher gefühlt. Nachts war es draußen etwas lauter, aber dafür kann der Gastgeber ja nichts.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, die das hergibt, wie es beschrieben wird. Die Lage ist gut: bis zu den Mauern sind es nur 5 min, bis zur Altstadt zieht es sich dann aber etwas :) Potenzial hat die Wohnung nur noch im Aussenbereich. Diesen kann man noch ansprechender nutzen, so dass man es gerne nutzt. Der CheckIn lief super. Klare Anweisungen, sogar mit Video. Top!

Staying at Lorenza’s Airbnb was truly a highlight of our trip to Italy! The home has that perfect rustic Italian charm — so authentic and cozy. The location is fantastic, with everything you need close by, and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning — the kind you dream about when imagining an Italian getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every little detail made us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with a true Italian vibe. Grazie, Lorenza!

Un de nos meilleurs séjours assurément !!!! Mattéo est un hôte très aidant et prévenant. La maison est juste un petit bijou au sommet de cette colline...une vue sur un paysage Toscan très inspirant du côté de la piscine (qui est une très jolie piscine)...bien que partagée nous avons été toujours seuls à en profiter !! La terrasse où l'on prenait nos repas est très agréable avec ces fortes chaleurs. La situation de la maison permet de rayonner dans la Toscane...Lucca, Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano....et nous avons pu pousser jusqu'au Jardin des Tarots de Niki de Saint Phalle. Nous recommandons fortement un séjour chez Mattéo...et pensons y retourner une autre fois.

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay recently…. It’s in a great location not far from the station and close to many bars and restaurants and a lovely cafe with superb coffee and brioche just around the corner..as Pisa is such an easy place to walk about it’s also very convenient for visiting all the sights of this charming city..the apartment itself was clean tidy and had everything we needed and also very private.. thanks again Richard and Vanessa

Akribisch renoviertes und liebevoll möbliertes altes Steinhaus mit 2 begrünten Terrassen am Rande eines Weilers, umgeben von Olivenhainen, völlig ruhig, keine weitere Infrastruktur. A/C mit Heizfunktion. Küche bestens ausgestattet (Geräte, Geschirr, Utensilien, Gewürze, Öl , Spüli etc.) Modernes Bad, ausreichend frische Handtücher. 2 Schlafzimmer (Durchgang) und Bad/WC im Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer und Küche im 1. Stock. Im Untergeschoss separates kleines Appartement mit Bad/WC und Küche und Waschmaschine. Zur Begrüßung erwarteten uns Wein, Wasser und ein Frühstück. In Empoli (ca 10 min.) großes Einkaufszentrum, Geschäfte und Lokale. Wer antike Architektur und Möbel, Natur und Ruhe liebt wird sich wie wir sehr wohlfühlen! 🤩 Aufgrund mehrerer steiler Treppen für Kleinkinder und mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen. I visited Adriana with some girlfriends and we had a truely lovely week. Adriana was happy to help if needed but also gave us enough space. I would definitely come back and recommend this place for a group of friends or even family’s because it’s quite a quiet area. You would definitely need a car to go shopping or for trips to see some sites in Tuscany. It was really clean and Adriana gave us enough towels and even beach towels! We felt very at home and welcomed!

Ontvangst door de host was bijzonder gastvrij en warm. Het huis was bij aankomst goed schoongemaakt. De ligging van het huis is mooi, met uitzicht over de Toscaanse heuvels. Er is een grote tuin met een olijfgaard. Voor onze twee hondjes was het een fijne plek. Onze dochter heeft ook enorm genoten. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om Toscaanse steden te bezoeken. Voor ons is het een plek om terug te komen.

Zuerst einmal ein großes Kompliment an Sandro. Die Kommunikation war perfekt. Auch wenn wir uns nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben, konnten wir uns gut verständigen. Das Haus ist ein Traum. Viel besser als es die Bilder je sagen könnten. Diese Liebe zum Detail ist einzigartig. Wir waren 5 Wochen in ganz Italien incl. Sizilien unterwegs. Aber diese Unterkunft war mit eine der schönsten. Auch für unsere Hunde ein Traum. Alles eingezäunt und rundherum wirkliche Ruhe. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle größeren Städte sind gut zu erreichen. Supermarkt und Restaurants ausreichend in der Nähe. Kinder hatten wir nicht dabei aber für die Kleinen ist bei Sandro ausreichend gesorgt mit Spielen, Spielküche, Kuscheltiere und vieles mehr. Dieses Haus kann ich nur empfehlen. Sollten wir wieder einmal diese Gegend besuchen wäre Sandro meine erste Adresse.. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

We thought Bonnie's place was incredible! The apartment was immaculate and so well appointed. It has been remodeled with two wonderful bathrooms, a great kitchen, and unlike most places in Italy, there is a separate washer and dryer, which we loved. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the center of Lucca, and also close to the wall. If I were ever to return to Lucca, I would definitely stay here again!

Cet endroit est juste magique. Nous y avons passé 9 jours de rêve au calme. Bianca et ses parents nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et nous ont fait visiter le lieu de résidence jouxté à leur belle maison, entourée de nature et en pleine campagne (une voiture est indispensable pour y accéder). La vue est magnifique, et le panorama vu de la piscine est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Le petit chemin pour accéder à la maison est un point de vue parfait pour les photos de coucher de soleil. Le lieu de résidence est tout simple mais soigné, et nous avons eu toute l'intimité voulue. Bianca et ses parents sont restés très discrets. Seul le chat venait parfois nous saluer sans nous importuner pour autant. Bianca nous a même aidés à effectuer une réservation dans l'un des merveilleux restaurants tout proches. Nous conseillerons ce lieu de résidence à nos amis qui veulent visiter la Toscane (Florence et Lucca tout proches).

Nous sommes ravis de notre semaine de vacances dans ce logement ! Tel que sur les photos : propre, spacieux, literies confortables avec les lits faits à l'arrivée et le linge de salle de bain fourni. Et surtout agréable à vivre ! L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la Toscane en étant au calme dans une jolie résidence privée et sécurisée, tout près de Pise, Lucca, et tant d'autres villes ! Notre hôte a toujours été réactive et agréable, merci pour votre gentillesse ! Logement et emplacement idéal pour un voyage en famille, nous recommandons les yeux fermés ! Tolle Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Nur wenige Meter über die Düne und schon macht sich ein herrlicher Strand auf. Es gibt direkt nebenan schöne Standbars, in denen man den morgendlichen Cappuccino genießen kann. Das Appartement war liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen Details. Irgendwie war alles da, ob zum Kochen oder Utensilien für den Strand. Wir hatten 4h Stau bei der Anreise und konnten den Check-In nicht rechtzeitig erreichen. Trotzdem war Sharon für uns noch um 23 Uhr da. Das war super.

Unser Aufenthalt in Lari bei Susie & Paolo war toll. Die beiden waren tolle Gastgeber, sie waren immer erreichbar, sehr aufmerksam und super lieb. Das Appartement war super gemütlich, sehr gepflegt und mit allem was wir brauchten ausgestattet. Im Garten gibt es eine schöne Außenküche mit Grill und Pizzaofen, die wir beide genutzt haben. Es gibt viele Plätze im zum sitzen und chillen. Auch der Poobereich ist sehr schön angelegt und umzäunt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und geben eine klare Weiterempfehlung 🫶

Wonderful location. Rooftop terrace is magical. Very helpful host. Great amenities near by; cafes, grocery, laundry, shopping. Easy walk to all the highlights of Lucca. Carlotta’s Rooftop apartment is an absolutely favorite AirBnB experience we have had. Lucca is a gem getaway.

We've just returned from a week at Casa Claudio. It was perfect in every way. We had plenty of down time enjoying the garden and pool, with easy access to Pisa Centrale to visit Sienna,Florence, Lucca,Pisa and all the amazing cities. San Giuliano Terme has its own train station 30 mins walk from Casa Claudio, really easy to navigate using the train app. we found it comfortable to walk or cycle into town for shopping, train station or Pizzeria. Really no need to have a car. The accommodation we found amazing, so clean and modern. Rooms were vast and we loved the front porch, sitting each evening and morning listening to bird song while eating al fresco, so relaxing. The pool and sunloungers were fabulous, pool perfect temperature and so spotlessly, cleaned daily. we were left to enjoy all the amenities peacefully, yet our questions and enquiries were replied to within the hour. we felt well cared for, Claudio and Irene's hosting is perfect, even a lift to the airport on going home.

Second stop in Italy for our honey moon and it was perfect!
