The house is really very nice. Location is also beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Since we were there in winter, the cottage village was barely inhabited and we were mostly alone there. Shopping is available in 20-30min by car. In the summer you will certainly be able to use even more hiking opportunities. In winter, there are many km of tracked trails just a few minutes from the house. You should be informed in advance about where to get wood right now, because availability is constantly changing at the moment. Depending on the weather, snow chains can be very helpful. The driveway to the house is quite steep and was completely required with us so we had to park the first days below the house. The communication with Harald and the cottage caretaker was flawless and here we got both tips for excursion destinations and tips on how to buy wood.

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. Everything is available… you can really feel at home. Lisbeth was really super straightforward and helped us with everything. The bedroom facing the street is a bit noisy during the day, but completely quiet from the evening on. The small cottage on Lisbeth's family farm is really a wonderful place to stop for those who want to explore the nature and area of Hemsedal.

Always a pleasure to stay at Lode's cabin! Great location, in a great cabin with a fantastic view! Very good communication with a great host. As returning guests, we will surely book again for the future.

We, 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs, had a wonderful week in Lise's house where nothing is missing. The view is wonderful and the tranquility is a treat! I can recommend the place to anyone without restriction. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful location and beautiful authentic house. The five bikes available are ideal for cycling the mountain bike route.

We stayed here for New Years. Bruce’s cabin is located right by the ski-lift and smaller slope; perfect location for families with children but also for going cross country skiing (terrain is not flat but climbing uphill is worth it). Bruce was very helpful with everything and the cabin had all the amenities we could ask for. Wood for fireplace can be bought in Bagn, should you run out. There is also a small Joker (grocery shop) about 5 min drive, in Reinli, in case you need it. All in all we were very happy with our stay here!

Typical Norwegian fjell hut, quaint, plenty of firewood and water. Good beds and cozy living room with lots of candles (short days in early January). With solar light, you could do enough. In the area very good skiing opportunities (cross-country and trail network within reach). We enjoyed it very much, ideal for relaxing and slowing down, thank you for that.

This was the most beautiful home - amazing hikes all around you with easy access to the lovely village of Roa and access to many other wonderful trips around Oslo. It was so peaceful staying here. Cecile and Eivind were absolutely lovely and made this trip so very special. It was a once in a life time visit that we will remember forever. Thank you Cecile and Eivind!

All around a great experience!

Great stay in beautiful surroundings. The cabin is privately located, with a lot of nature around. For those of us who love the outdoors, this cabin was great to spend Easter on. We thanked you for your stay, and can highly recommend this airbnd ’☺️one from us!

We have spent one week in the cabin of Aart to enjoy the tranquility and go skiing a bit. The cabin is high standard and the location is unashamed with amazing nature. Aart has described everything from directions to practical information in detail so nothing was left to chance. The cabin is very practical and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Wow, what a beautiful place! We absolutely loved it. We spent the first part of our honeymoon at Paul and Lucie’s and couldn’t have chosen better. It is in the perfect spot - close to the station and the lake, but far away from the crowds at Flåm. We loved walks along the Rallarvegen, the zip line and cycle down to Flåm, taking the canoe out on the lake, and long evenings spent lounging on the deck and in the hot tub. It’s worth checking in advance if breakfasts and dinner can be provided as there are no shops nearby, but we didn’t find this an issue at all as we enjoyed cooking together. A lovely, peaceful place and very helpful, friendly hosts. The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!

We had a wonderful stay. We didn't miss anything and we felt very comfortable. The equipment and location of the house is great, perfect for relaxing in nature. Noortje has given many helpful tips and ideas and responded promptly to questions. All around we were very satisfied and would recommend it without hesitation!

Very tidy and well equipped kitchen. The cabin is in a great location, was clean and homey. The host was incredibly nice, flexible and helpful :) we had a brilliant weekend in the mountains.
