Small cabin with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here you can experience a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. At the top awaits the prize, flat and nice with beautiful views :) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

Our country house is easy to reach by the main road between Bergen and Oslo. Only one hour drive from Oslo and from Oslo airport Gardermoen. You'll love the place in quiet surroundings and wild nature, the view, the large outdoor areas with direct access to the river. Two canoes & one boat included, ready for taking you out for fishing or just for an adventure up the river. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.
