Fantastic apartment, view, swimming pool and communication throughout. We really enjoyed our stay. Jonathan was very kind and allowed us to check out late so the kids could have a swim before we headed home!

As always we were very pleased with Barbara's apartment. Everything is clean and well decorated. The beds are comfortable. It feels like home. Opening the shutters every morning to the beautiful view of Lake Maggiore and the sun gave us plenty of energy to start our days!

We felt very comfortable. When the weather was nice, the view was fantastic and the garden was super nice. Rebecca was always very helpful and responded quickly. Despite bad weather, we had a lovely holiday. We would definitely come back!😊

The view is spectacular. Even better in person. Worth the drive up the mountains. By the third day I was driving like a local. Spent 5 peaceful relaxing days. The huge balcony is the perfect spot for enjoying cocktails. Short drive to the local grocery store and Varenna was just a 20 min drive.

This was a 10 star experience! We absolutely loved our stay in Luciano and Katia’s house. It was perfect. The train is conveniently located within minutes of the house. Though it was near, you could not hear the train. It was quiet. The location is beautiful, in a valley between the Swiss Alps on one side and the Italian Alps on the other. We loved riding bicycles along the small farms nearby. Luciano is the friendliest host we’ve ever met, always eager to enhance our stay. He showed us the gorgeous scenery in different areas nearby. This house is the most well equipped we’ve stayed in with Airbnb. They generously supplied coffee, breakfast cereals, fruit, milk, juice, spices, cooking oil, and more. We would highly recommend this house and we would definitely return when we come back to Switzerland. Thank you Luciano and Katia! We had a wonderful week.

Beautiful, very stylishly furnished apartment with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and the countryside. The kitchen amenities are great, the bed is comfortable and the terrace with a view is a great highlight. We can definitely recommend Matteo's apartment. Sandro is a very friendly host. Communication was easy and fast. If there were any questions, he also called quickly to explain everything. Everything was as described and clean. The apartment contains no unnecessary furnishings and is very clearly structured. The whole apartment is tastefully and newly furnished. Also the bathroom is very nicely made. But we liked the balcony and the view best. You can see the lake from the balcony. The lake can also be reached very quickly. Fortunately, it was very quiet at night. Thus, you can also leave the window open on warmer nights. What is also very good for guests with an electric car is the charging station around the corner. Just 210 meters away is a BMW dealer with a 150KWh charging station. That was super convenient, of course.

We felt very comfortable in Matina's apartment. The location is perfect for walks and swimming at the Maggia or Melazza - which our dog also liked. Glad to come back!

Perfect apartment for your stay in Locarno

The apartment features a beautiful and simple design with stunning views of the mountains and passing trains — truly a highlight of our stay. It’s well-equipped with most of the essentials, making our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We did encounter a couple of minor issues: the Swiss-type sockets were a bit inconvenient, and while the host kindly explained the situation, no adapter was provided. Additionally, the large garbage container outside was locked, which made waste disposal a bit difficult. Despite these small drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful setting and thoughtful touches throughout the apartment.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

I had an incredible experience at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described – if not better. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a dream house . The highlight, though, was the window view – absolutely stunning! Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was breathtaking and made every moment even more special. The host was responsive, kind, and made sure everything went smoothly. For the quality, comfort, and experience, this place is absolutely worth the money. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.

The accommodation is in a quiet neighborhood and is conveniently located for visiting the area by car, and Esther welcomed us very warmly. The bed was comfortable and there were all the useful utensils. Limited street parking was not a problem. It should be noted that there is no physical separation between the bathroom (with toilet) and the living room, but we accommodated it. The lack of a kitchen sink didn't bother us too much for two days, but we would have preferred it instead of the washing machine and dishwasher.

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

The host Andrea was really very nice and always helpful. He was quick to respond to messages. I can really only recommend it. Varenna is easily accessible by bus/shuttle bus. It was as described in the photos :)

You immediately feel comfortable, the beds were comfortable and the apartment very clean. The location is very quiet and the view was enchanting, especially the morning sun on the lake. Would book this Airbnb again in a heartbeat!

Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with a great view. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊

The place was just as described: good location, clean and very, very spacious. We did our research before reserving Lisa's apartment, so we knew the place was walking distance to some events we had to attend that weekend. Lisa was extremely helpful, patient with us (we changed arrival time last minute) and flexible. The bathrooms were modern and clean, and so was the kitchen. Very spacious and with really high ceilings. It all went very smooth during our stay. A great asset to Airbnb.
