Beach house vacation rentals in Ventnor

A really lovely house with a great size garden for the kids to play. It was an easy walk into cowes along the sea front, only a 15-20 minute stroll. Many pubs serving great food in cowes, very dog friendly. Would recommend The Fountain Inn if you have dogs. We had a great week with all the family, and hope to come back one day. Jo is very responsive to any questions, and even quickly popped over some oven trays when we couldn’t find them. Thank you for a fantastic week

We had a wonderful family holiday. The location is amazing. Very well appointed place with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Maria and Chris were helpful and comms were great.

Wonderful stay with our two young children & in-laws. The view took our breath away when we first arrived. We loved having the beach access at the end of the garden where the kids enjoyed crabbing most mornings & evenings. We walked in to Ryde numerous times, both along the street but also along the beach when the tide was out. We all slept incredibly well in the very comfy beds. Great amenities and well stocked kitchen. Would 100% recommend for a beautiful stay away on the Isle of Wight. Thanks Beth!

The perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hilda Cottage is beautifully styled and furnished, with everything you can possibly need and more! Squeaky clean, comfy beds, a secluded garden and plenty of seats for a party of six. Perfectly located just a hop and a skip to the sea, and the coastal path. Down the road from a very well stocked Co-Op and a fabulous pub. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Crab and Lobster, and frequented the bar on numerous occasions, it’s so close!!! The Harbour View made for a very pleasant coffee stop too! The amazing weather truly was the cherry on top. Our second stay at the Salt Shack and it didn't disappoint. We've loved long dog walks on the beach, sea swimming and fossil hunting! This is the prefect place as one of our party has a disability. 😊

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Beach Lodge. It was the perfect base for myself, my husband, our two young children and our dog to stay for a couple of days whilst enjoying the delights of West Wittering Beach and the surrounding area. The lodge is connected to the main house, where the owners live, but it felt very private as it has its own front door and a back gate which meant we could come and go as we pleased. It is located literally just a few minutes walk to the beach - so very convenient! The lodge also has its own private, enclosed garden which was perfect for the kids and the dog. Communication with Michelle and Jack was faultless. Ahead of our stay, Michelle sent recommendations of local places for dinners/lunches which were so helpful and we ate at a few and all were delicious. Thanks Michelle! Overall, we found Beach Lodge to be peaceful, comfortable and the perfect place for a short weekend away from London. We certainly hope to return again soon!

Caron's caravan is well equipped and spotless. It has a homely feel and is nice and cozy come the evening once curtains are pulled. Caron herself was very contactable and quick with her replies. There was a welcome basket for us on arrival and a little something for the grand children. We had the best time.

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at this lodge, it was a great location for us visiting family and getting around the island. The property had everything we required and a lovely view. Jenny was really helpful and very responsive to any messages from the point of reserving through to the day of our check out. Thank you for letting us stay Jenny and we will be back!

The accommodation was lovely and clean. The lodge was in a quiet cul de sac. The kitchen was well stocked, the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The site was well kept, the swimming pool and sauna were really nice. Communication with Julie was excellent. We look forward to staying here again.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lodge on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Tucked away in a peaceful caravan park just a stone’s throw from the sea, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside charm. The location couldn’t be better—waking up to the beautiful sea view and being able to stroll down to the beach in just minutes was absolute bliss. The on site pool and playground were the perfect end to a day exploring for our kids, all the staff here were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from towels, a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a lovely lounge area with the most stunning uninterrupted sea views . It felt more like a boutique coastal retreat than a lodge! Can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re after a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or a family break by the sea, this gem has it all. Thank you Rob :)

Gorgeous holiday park and lovely cabin, sparkling clean and excellent open plan space and kitchen. Great communication and loved the access to woods and beach! The children were over the moon with the welcome hamper (so were we) - wish we could have stayed longer! Just a couple of side notes (which I should have checked before) just for anyone booking - - no high chair for infants - outdoor pool not open until June Staff at the park can’t do enough for you!

I’d like to say huge Thank You! We had amazing time at The Gables. The house is much bigger than on the photos and very well designed. It’s important to us that Jane provided all essentials like foil, washing up liquid, salt, etc. She also gave us a few recommendations and all of them were superb (especially Crown & Anchor and the pizza place CHK). Also, she allowed us to use the beach trolley which was very convenient as the beach is in a walking distance. I would highly recommend this house for family gatherings and I hope we’ll be back one day.

We visited as a family of three generations for a week. It was clean and comfortable, and ideally suited our needs. The children loved the garden including the playhouse. The location was quiet but it was easy to walk into Ventnor. The house was well equipped, and we would certainly be happy to return and to recommend to others.

We met Jill upon arriving at The Coachhouse and she was very warm and welcoming. Jill also provides great information before your visit too and is a great host. The Coachhouse itself has everything you need within it for a great stay. Very clean and cosy and in a great area with a large field and walks just across the road which our dog Bracken enjoyed very much. The area itself is very peaceful and just a short walk into Old Shanklin. Would definitely recommend the Coachhouse and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we next visit the Isle of Wight.

We had an amazing stay in Jays Cottage. Perfect location, fabulous home, great holiday. Jays cottage is perfectly placed in the beautiful West Cowes, so many lovely sights, attractions and amazing places to eat we were spoilt. The house is lovely and Mark and Julie have created a very welcoming airbnb. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The location was perfect .. Closer to the Village yet still walkable to the beach .. house was ultra modern .. beautifully furnished , high quality crockery , glasses etc . Beds were super comfy and beautiful high quality bed linen . The outdoor space was perfect for the dog , would have loved a hot tub rather than a sauna ..( just saying 🤣) Great bathrooms huge showers .. will definitely re book

Lovely home in a beautiful location. Perfect walking distance into old Shanklin. Home was very comfortable and clean. Lovely towels and bedding. Kitchen was well stocked and had more of everything than we needed. The only thing we could find fault with is the TVs no smart TVs in the house so no way to watch Netflix etc. Hot tub was warm and clean and was a welcome way to relax in the evenings.

Lovely place! We loved being in Yarmouth, nothing is far away in the IOW and one of our favourite things was driving the military road home everyday at sunset. Highly recommend!
