Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vence

We stayed with Domi for almost a week during our trip to the Côte d'Azur and would have liked to have stayed longer. The small vacation home is perfectly located to walk to the village, the harbor and the two city beaches. Other beaches are within 10-15 minutes by car. The outdoor kitchen and pool are a dream. We stayed outside almost all the time and always felt comfortable. Although you live at home with Domi, her husband and her dog, there is plenty of privacy. The hosts are also very warm and helpful. Overall, one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at. Absolutely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully designe, maintained and comfortable. TV in both lounge and bedroom. A small kitchen has all you need for preparing meals. Quadruple glazing cuts out traffic noise from the promenade traffic. The view of the sea is stunning with lots of interest from boats of all descriptions from fishing boats to super-yachts. The promenade is used by cyclists, runners, in-line skaters and is also great for walking. We visited the very interesting and beautiful Renoir house, a museum within walking distance from the apartment. Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach by rail, which we found to be the best transport. Buses stop outside the flat, especially the 41 which takes you into the centre of town where there are frequent street markets and a covered market selliing fresh fish meat and veg. Numerous restaurants, french, italian, asian are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Peter and Elizabeth Bryant

Raymond and Anne share with guests their beautiful home, but they are exceptionally warm, interesting, and charming people to meet. It was an excellent combination for a magical and memorable vacation to Monaco. I would not go back unless we can stay with them again! Besides the amazing views, refreshing pool and clean jacuzzi, there were even fireworks several of the nights over the bay! Our hosts generously left wine, snacks, and coffee in the unit, as well as a fully stocked bathroom. More than anything, we really loved spending time with them. Highly recommend this AirBnB!

Sylvie welcomed us very nicely although we were four hours late. We immediately felt comfortable in the very pretty garden, which was made and cared for with love. The apartment, which is very stylish and spiritually furnished, includes everything you need or could need. We gladly used the spa, especially in the blazing sun as it is in the house and offers a very nice view. A private parking space in the quiet private location complete the pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Our second stay here. First in 2018. Great location on the beach and close walking to all you need in food and restaurants. Also close to train station so transport from Nice airport is easy enough. Can be a bit loud from beach on weekends but didn’t bother us. Apartment is very nice with great wrap around balcony. Always a nice cooling breeze off the Med. thumbs up from us.

Our stay at Clive and Lily’s studio in Cannes was amazing, the highlight was the view from the balcony. The location was ideal and the hosts were very responsive and helpful, highly recommend and already booked our next stay!

The rental is located in a quiet area and close to nice villages and hikes. Listing is qualitative. The owner was away when we were there, but very responsive by sms. No worries. For tenants with a dog, it should be noted that the land is not fenced and shared with the owner. The road to the accommodation is very steep!

This place is such a gem. It’s spacious and well-appointed with everything you could need for your stay. It would be very comfortable for a long term stay, too. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning perfect, and it’s a peaceful and private location. The apartment itself has so much personality and charm. Edith was incredibly responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Can’t recommend enough!

Had a fantastic stay at Jon's place in Villefranche. The house is set up perfectly for a family gathering and stands up to the pictures. Well located in the hills above Villefranche-sur-mer, it served as a great base for our family to explore the area around Nice.

We have had a wonderful stay at Philippe’s home. The house was beautiful and particularly suitable for our family stay with a small baby. He was very accommodating answering any queries promptly. The information instructions provided were very detailed and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful as the weather was hot and the air conditioning was very welcome. We were a group of six and the house was very spacious with plenty of room for three couples and a baby. We would like to thank Philippe for hosting us. We have wonderful memories of a lovely holiday at Cagnes sur Mer.

Wow !! Quite simply the best apartment we’ve ever had on AIR BnB 👌 perfect in every way and right in the heart of the old town, attractions, shops, daily market and restaurants . Perfect view of the full Promenade from the beautiful balcony !!! And to top it all off Eileen and Connie were the perfect hosts and communication was fantastic!! Excellent location, the house was as described, the hosts were accommodating and thoughtful. Excellent house for children, the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The property looked new and very well looked after. It was out today time on Air B&B and we ve been very impressed.

Functional and atypical accommodation. Its location is perfect. The city center is within walking distance (about 30 minutes). The location on the hill, the surrounding greenery, the calm as well as the sea views are great. Everything was perfect. Very friendly and available hosts.

What a beautiful house!! Perfect for a family holiday, lots of space for us all and an amazing pool and outside space. The view is incredible and the village charming. A great location if you want to explore the Cote D'Azur but also have some peace and quiet in an authentic French village. Isabelle was incredibly helpful before we arrived and through our stay. Would definitely return...

We enjoyed our stay at Brigitte and Dominique's place. Detached villa; owners live upstairs. Privacy while owners are also available for questions. Great kitchen, fully equipped in terms of appliances and crockery. Warm welcome with a bottle of rosé and two bottles of mineral water in the fridge. Also coffee and tea, bottle of olive oil and all sorts of small useful items. Plenty of space in the living room. Separate toilet, good bathroom with plenty of closet space and shower (with shower curtain). Nice bedroom with good bed and plenty of closet space. All equipped with A/C. Often wonderful tranquility on and around the location. Outside, all kinds of seats and sun beds. Via path along exuberant lavender and 200-year-old olive tree to a wonderful private swimming pool that is available from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and is cleaned daily by Dominique. Beautiful panoramic views and views of Mediterranean garden with oleanders, cypresses, etc. In short: live like God in France in this beautiful place!
