the Rossino mill

ChristyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful time with two families in the mill. It was a real adventure to be allowed to stay here. We baked delicious pizzas in the wood oven and swam in the river every day. The children loved jumping from the rocks into the water. Leticia was a great host who solved any problems we had flawlessly. We really hope to return to such a great place and host.

Il Bambu (with private swimming pool)

RoryRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

Infinity pool Pisa-Lucca-Florence Views

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We expected this villa and views to be amazingly but it was above our expectations would definately recommed it, Jeroen emailed clear directions andchecking in info but he also videoed the sign and road to look out for and videoed the road down to the villa as it wasn't signposted. The villa has 360° panaramic views, and is not overlooked at all, with a fab infinity pool. Very clean and modern, had everything u needed. It was a pleasent change to have plenty of everything in the kitchen, crockery and glasses all matching and stacked high. Washing machine and dishwasher were added bonuses along with the little shop just up the road. 5 star all the way.

Podere Tignano, 4-bedroom villa in the Chianti!

MeganRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

7 min Cantina Antinori | Pool | Casa Sala & Pepe

RyanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful home near Chianti. Clean and comfortable, with amazing vineyard/sunset views. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and they gave clear instructions. One thing to note is that the property is listed as "Entire Home", but it is actually a condominium that shares walls and outdoor common areas with the neighbors. There is a divider in the backyard between us and the neighbors, but it is not completely private. Overall, we had a great time here.

Montecatini Alto Art View

GarethRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved staying in Carolina’s house in Montecatini Alto. It was a lovely welcoming place to wake up in and return to at the end of the day. The view from the windows and the patio is extraordinary and sitting out enjoying it was one of the best parts of the holiday. The house had all we needed. Carolina was a wonderful host; friendly, quick to reply and extremely helpful. The village is a lovely quiet place to stay and we wouldn’t look anywhere else if we return to the area.

House with wonderful views. The journey is a bit adventurous, but that is probably part of such a small mountain village (as well as the delicious local pizzeria). We used the accommodation as a base for excursions in the whole of Tuscany, but you could stay there for several days just for the landscape.

Apartment and garden with pool equipped with all the necessary comforts. We could say we felt spoiled! We also liked the mosquito nets not mentioned in the listing! In just over half an hour, Pistoia, Lucca and Pisa were reachable, which we visited along with a few small villages in the hills near the apartment. The owners, available and unobtrusive, made our stay pleasant, we really felt like welcome guests.

The apartment is beautiful and in a quiet location. It is equipped with everything you need and spotless. In the garden, it is wonderful to have breakfast or enjoy the silence in the evening. The old town is within walking distance. Beautiful towns nearby to visit and of course the great Tuscan landscape. because it was so hot we went to the beach for a day, which is an hour's drive, so easy to do. Barbara and her family are friendly and welcoming. Recommended!

Elegant ancient villa Lucca

LeahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

A slice of paradise in Montecatini

JohannRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Sonia's house in the mountains really is a gem and definitely worth a stay. We stayed here for 12 nights as a family with two small kids. Everyone of us especially loved the pool, the whole atmosphere of being above Montecatini Terme and being able to look into the plane. We could see fireflies every evening once the sun went down. Pretty spectacular. Sonia and Luca were very welcoming and friendly hosts. Make sure to pay a visit to their shop downtown for wine, oil etc. There are plenty of places to visit nearby, especially of course Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Florence but also Montecatini Terme itself where you can see the old spa tradition in the richness of its (nowadays at some points a bit run down) architecture. You definitely need a car and shouldn't be afraid of small windy roads. I enjoyed them however.

I will never forget this experience—ideal to visit with friends! It is located up a steep hillside and well worth the adventure to get there. Varinia literally thought of and provided every detail a guest would need. I would love to return one day!

Casa Iperico in Historic Tuscan Villa

DuaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.

We spent 2 weeks in June in Castello di Cireglio. After a long drive, we were welcomed by Britta and Marco with Prosecco. The place is beautiful, peace is guaranteed. Nevertheless, you are about an hour from the sights, mountains and beach. We got to know a piece of Tuscany and many nice people in the 2 weeks. But our favorite people have become Britta and Marco🫶🏻. The two are great people and more than just Airbnb hosts. They have created a place of well-being from the house, where tradition meets modernity. We slept wonderfully in the bed, although it was hot outside, it was always pleasantly cool in the house. We cooked in the very well-equipped kitchen and had breakfast and dinner on the terrace. The decoration in the house is incredibly beautiful, from the ceramics to the paintings. Thanks for the time in your beautiful house and the time with you. Our house is always open for you!
