Cabin vacation rentals in Vättern

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s converted barn. It is in a very convenient location, just off the main road down a small lane, at the end of which is a petrol station and supermarket. It is only a short stroll into the pretty centre where you can find historical sights of interest, pretty streets , independent shops and a variety of restaurants. Kathy has taken great care in ensuring the barn is comfortable and clean, ensuring her guests have all they will need for their stay. The bed is comfortable and she provides good quality linens and towels. The hot tub was immaculate and a real treat, as was the cava and chocolates that were part of our welcome package. Kathy’s attention to detail makes this accommodation stand apart from others. Thank you Kathy.

Great location, it was so peaceful. It's cozy and we immediately felt right at home. Just the sounds of birds and wind in the trees. We loved the hot tub! on our second day we saw a moose just 3 mins from the cabin. Nox was very responsive and proactive with the communication. Would definitely come back again!

Fantastiskt boende med stora sociala ytor så väl inne som ute. Passade oss perfekt som var en familj med 13 personer. Lugnt och skönt långt ifrån grannar och trafik, endast ljuvligt fågelkvitter inpå husknuten 🌸 En trevlig värdfamilj.

Gasolflaskan till grillen var slut, men det löste sig genom att vi fick köra till en mack och köpa och värden betalade till mig, så det var ok. Antar att det var gästerna innan oss som gjort slut på gasolen utan att meddela värden.

Wir haben uns bei Annika sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wirklich fantastisch gewesen. Die Wohnung war sauber und gemütlich. Undenäs ist wirklich sehr ruhig und perfekt für Wanderer und Hundebesitzer. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Hans-Olov. Er werd duidelijk uitleg gegeven over de woning en toebehoren. Het is een super gezellig huisje in een prachtige omgeving. Het bed was comfortabel en we hebben genoten van de jaccuzzi. We zijn hier twee nachten geweest maar het hadden er wat ons betreft wel twee weken mogen zijn. Hans-Olov nog bedankt voor de gastvrijheid. Groeten Jan en Patricia

Charmigt lantställe, god mat serverades inne på deras restaurang i ladan, passa på att äta där när ni besöker de. Barnen kunde springa runt och leka, vår hund fick följa med. Bra parkering. Och en mysig jacuzzi vid skogen.

Bra boende med mycket fint läge och bra stigar i vacker natur. Gångavstånd till restaurang Hestraviken Spa o Restaurang. Och hade vi varit golfspelare hade vi varit ännu nöjdare då det är gångavstånd Isabergs Golfklubb. Vi rekommenderar verkligen detta boende.

Tolles kleines Häuschen, wir konnten die Abendsonne im Garten genießen. Der Ortskern mit Supermarkt und Restaurants und der See sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

The peaceful lake views and morning birdsong made our stay truly unforgettable. We especially loved exploring the Tiveden national park — the trails were wild and beautiful. Christina was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place is a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and quiet moments. We’re grateful for the memories and already hoping to return!

The room was incredibly cozy and cute and the surrounding area was peaceful and lovely. We had a wonderful time here with our dog.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Erholsamer Urlaub inmitten schwedischer Natur – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Cottage sehr genossen. Die Lage ist traumhaft – mitten in der unberührten schwedischen Natur, umgeben von Wäldern und Seen. Ruhe, frische Luft und Natur pur! Das separate Gästehaus war perfekt für unsere mitreisende Tochter – viel Platz und Privatsphäre für alle. Ein echtes Highlight war die private Sauna: ideal zum Entspannen nach langen Spaziergängen durch die Landschaft. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass Hunde willkommen sind. Unser Vierbeiner hat den großen Garten und die Natur genauso genossen wie wir. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, blitzsauber und hervorragend ausgestattet – man merkt sofort, wie viel Herz der Gastgeber hineingesteckt haben. Der Kontakt war freundlich und unkompliziert, der Check-in problemlos. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Erholung in der Natur suchen!

It was so lovely to stay at Ewa’s place and it is incredibly picturesque and quiet. There are shops and restaurants within 20 minutes which is helpful for lunch / dinner etc. Ewa is a lovely host and makes the most wonderful breakfast every day - such a treat! I look forward to returning :)

Ett jättegulligt torp i underbara omgivningar! Lugnt och fint! Med massor av trevliga utflyktsmål i närheten! Kan inte bli bättre! /Gun med vovvarna

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sieht aus wie auf den Fotos. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage am See ist sehr ruhig und der Zugang zum wunderschönen See nah. Lise und Michael waren gut erreichbar und freundlich. Am liebsten wären wir länger geblieben. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben auf unserem Road Trip eine Nacht in der schönen Hütte verbracht. Es ist sehr ruhig und die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Die Außendusche ist ein echtes Highlight , nun will ich auch eine. Die Trocken- Toilette funktioniert gut ist nur etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber kein Problem. Gerne wieder und empfehlenswert.

Es war für uns ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern in einer wunderbaren Umgebung. Besonders gefallen hat uns eine herrliche Wanderung um den See, das anschließende Bad und die Sauna direkt am See.

En smuk lille perle. Det perfekt sted til en overnatning, inden vi skulle videre nordpå. Meget søde værter, der fik os til at føles os meget velkomne. Skønne idylliske omgivelser.

Mysigt och prisvärt boende med trevlig uteplats och gångavstånd till stan. Enkelt att hitta parkering utanför och snabbt svarande värd. Supernöjd

Ett fantastiskt B&B med hotell känsla. Underbart sköna sängar att sova i och det charmiga lilla huset hade renoverats varsamt utan att förstöra känslan av det som en gång var. För att innehålla all tänkbar vardagslyx. Rekommenderar varmt detta boende och hyresvärdar!

Trevligt boende i äldre miljö. Värdarna var väldigt trevliga och huset väldigt mysigt. Ett plus är bastun i huset. Ett minus är att det är lite lågt till tak på olika platser i huset. Huset ligger nära Mallboden och Motala verkstad vilket är en trevlig plats med gångavstånd till centrum.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We had a wonderful stay at Katarina's place. It is really closed to the lake and the natural reserve. I highly recommend!!
