House vacation rentals in Vatican Hill

We had a very good time, very welcoming and well furnished apartment. There has always been immediate support for every request we made. I will definitely return to Fabrizio and I highly recommend it.

We had a remarkable stay, a quiet green area, far from the hustle and bustle, perfect after a day of walking the streets and monuments of Rome. The villa is spacious and comfortable, the pool is a haven of relaxation. Regarding the villa, nothing is missing, the layout has been thought out and the kitchen has all the everyday objects to prepare a good meal. Each request is taken into account quickly by the owners so that you can benefit from the best conditions during your stay. It's obvious that our next visit to the beautiful city of Rome will be at this rental.

Alex was an ideal host. Met us on arrival and showed us around. He was always available via messages if required. The house was fantastic and the gardens and pool were beautiful. The pool is quite deep with a diving board. We decided not to rent a car and taxis were quite expensive so we relied on buses and the metro to get around. A metro bus ticket is 1.50 euros which gives you 100 minutes of travel on the bus and metro ( only one metro ride per ticket ). There are 3 big supermarkets including Lidl which can be reached catching the 88 bus outside the gate. The 906 bus can take you to Valle Aurelia where you can catch the metro to Rome Central. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it. A fantastic host of a lovely villa.

Exactly as pictured and beautiful view of the colosseum. The host was very responsive and offered to come clean/do linens daily. I would recommend this listing to anyone.

Emanuele’s apartment was perfect for our city break in Rome. It’s a lovely space, comfortable, very clean, lots of thought, care and attention has gone into providing everything we needed for our stay. The location of the property was very well connected with public transport to get into the centre of the city easily. We had excellent, very easy communication with Emanuele. He was very accommodating, even when our incoming flight was very delayed. We had a lovely stay. Nice location, lovely bed, kitchen and bathroom. It was very sweet that when we arrived the fridge was filled with little things so we didn't have to do groceries right away. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Simona's Villa was absolutely perfect. The villa itself is stunning—spacious, beautifully laid out, and impeccably decorated and furnished. The grounds are equally beautiful, providing a serene and private atmosphere that our family thoroughly enjoyed. The swimming pool was a highlight for us, offering the perfect spot to relax and lounge in complete privacy, thanks to the gated access and secluded setting. The location was also ideal, with everything we needed just a short drive away. We were close to convenient stores and grocery shops, making daily errands easy, and the city of Rome was within reach for our day trips. We highly recommend Simona's Villa, especially for families like ours who are looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, yet still want to be close enough to enjoy everything Rome has to offer. It’s the perfect balance of solitude and convenience.

Such a gem of a place! Location is not too far; accessible by metro and taxi. The host was fantastic. Loved the place and totally worth it!

I cannot say enough about Klevin. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, gorgeous, quiet, comfortable, easy to access. Most importantly, Klevin was ALWAYS accessible to us. We were robbed in Rome and Klevin went above and beyond to help us get new passports in time to make our cruise. We owe our entire vacation to him and his kindness.

This was a beautiful little apartment. Everything was perfectly decorated and spotless. We had some trouble with traffic and other delays and the hosts were amazing. They relieved a lot of stress, waited for us to arrive, warmly welcomed us into their home…. You couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I'm so glad I choose to stay at Celeste's place when I visited my daughter who was studying abroad at AUR. The terrace was a wonderful place for she and her friends to come over and hang out. It's even more beautiful and cooler than the pictures show. We loved it!! We could easily walk to any place in Trastevere or take the tram into downtown Rome (20 min). I spent a few days by myself and felt safe walking in the area and navigating to and from all the famous Roman sites. At the end of the day, I came back to a clean, comfortable, and safe place. As other reviewers mentioned, downstairs feels slightly humid but there is no mold. All the windows open, and it feels pleasant within 5 minutes. The area is bustling until about 11 pm, but after that it's quiet. The door is tricky. Use the door knocker to pull the door firmly toward you while turning the key all the way to the left, then push in. I can't wait to bring my whole family back to Rome and stay in Celeste's aqueduct apt again!

We chose Maria's to be close to our older son who travelled with a group of university boys. It ended up being directly opposite their accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed him being able to come over and spend nights with us comfortably. The house was the epitome of luxury with the exquisite decor EVERYWHERE!! All 4 rooms ensuite were a home-away-from- home experience we absolutely enjoyed. The slight adjustments needed with hot water and the TV at check-in, were dealt with by the technician and made our 4-day stay a fantastic experience. I had a few friends stop over and was very proud to show them the place. As to recommending this location in the future, I have started to already and will continue to do so. Perfect place to stay in Rome. Easy to get around, great restaurants around. Not close to the centre but it is easy to get their via public transportation. Having the beautiful terrace is definitely a plus!

Thank you for an overall nice stay that was smooth and seamless for two people. Rita communicated quickly and for my requests and she was helpful. Self check in was very easy. The home was very cute and is equipped with all that you would need. The accommodation was cool, bed was comfortable and pillows, too. We are fairly taller visitors and the bed was a perfect size for us. Hairdryer was good quality and dried my hair very quickly. Some dishes were unclean so would recommend rinsing them first. If you have young children or sleep earlier before 12:30-1am, this apartment may be a little noisy. The courtyard of the church is now rented for a seasonal pop up bar and it’s right outside the bed window behind your head. It feels like you are in the party! While this is not the hosts fault for outside noise in the city, it is helpful to know or be told about this summer bar. Mornings are beautiful with the sound of birds. Before arriving, we made arrangements for an airport pickup. We arrived and had some trouble finding our driver . I messaged in the app very early that morning ( before 6 am) and got an almost instant response . They checked on it and made sure we got there . After arriving very early in the morning we also were able to check in early - we had our one years old and 3 year old , so this was extremely helpful. Very grateful ! Great place, very central and helpful accommodating hosts.

A quaint little place near coffee shops transit,grocery store near and restaurant. Perfect for what we were looking for. We definitely would recommend this place. Paola was great and very responsive to us. She checked in on us to make sure everything was good.
