We rent out our nice little cottage/lake cabin in Västervik during the summer months. The cottage is located 2 km from the city center and 50 m to the pier where you can take a morning swim. The cottage consists of large cottage with bedable corner sofa, TV and dining area, small kitchen, bedroom with 120 cm bed and a terrace under roof in southwest facing with a fantastic view of Gamlebyvik and in towards Västervik. There is a shower and toilet. The cottage is 40 sqm including terrace suitable for 2 adults and 1 child Barbecue is available. Bed linens , towels and cleaning not included

The house has the essentials as simpler kitchen and newly renovated marble bathroom. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the city center and the way there is fantastic along the water. In the center there are many cozy cafes, restaurants and shops. You who rent the guesthouse can use the dock just outside. Please note that there is a dog on site. Bicycles are available to borrow.

This spacious one bedroom apartment has all the facilities needed and is located in a separate building on the plot where our own villa is located. The place is quiet, but in walking distance from the town centre and the sea! Bed linens and towels are available to use. If you wish that we take care of the laundry, we do this at a cost of SEK 100/set (1 set = sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, bath towels). Kitchen towel and small towel in the bathroom are included in the rent.

Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three persons. It is nice to add a boat at our dock if you want to bring a boat. Well behaved dogs welcome, but wish they sleep in their own bed.

Absolutely amazing property!!! Everything was sparkling clean, spotless & fresh! The bed had a really comfy mattress and the sheets were freshly washed. The apt itself has a smaller kitchen where you could fix breakfast and light meals and if you want to cook a larger meal, it was a pleasure to use the kitchen that was in common with the other two apartments in the property. Were nice meetings around the dinner pots with the other guests while I was there! The patios and surroundings with proximity to the sea, harbor and swimming were an extra bonus to a great accommodation! The hosts were very nice and friendly so the place is recommended warmly!

We loved every minute of our stay at Camilla’s house. It was peaceful and perfect for 4 adults and our one small dog. We especially loved the new sauna - it’s beautifully built, with top of the line heat for the ultimate relaxation experience. The rowboat, the access to the sea, the surrounding lawn and nature trails all added to the perfect weekend to get away! The house is even better than the listing and pictures show. Camilla is the perfect host - helpful, responsive and kind, and she has created a very special place for travelers to rest and relax! We’re so happy we found it and we can’t wait to find a reason and time to be back at her house!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!

Great location—very peaceful, and the lake is beautiful. Sven is an amazing host: very responsive and super friendly. We had a wonderful time at his house and really enjoyed the getaway from the city. The house is small but well-equipped, and the bed is really comfortable. The highlight for us was the nature and the tranquility, especially while relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike (the nearby Norra Kvill National Park is amazing!). All in all, a great experience—highly recommended! 😊

In connection with Astrid Lindgren's World, we stayed with Harry. Everything good from start to finish. Clear communication, responds quickly, the accommodation is very good, clean and nice. Highly recommended!

The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly to messages, and the resident cat is a sweetheart. We had an amazing stay in Västervik and will be back!
