Waterfront vacation rentals in Vanua Levu

Great location, clean apartment as advertised, fast wi-fi, good restaurants fairly close by. Overall, I recommend this apartment for anyone visiting!

Communication was excellent. We arrived by flight, had a rental car and took the quick 5 min drive over. Sam was there, who lives on the property. He got us situated, even offered to let us borrow the kayak to go out into the lagoon, and found some snorkels for us to use! We had a nice short stay in Bora Bora, and everything was so close. My wife wasn't feeling well and we had an afternoon flight out, and with rain all day, there wasn't much for us to do, so with a flexible check-out we were able to let her rest and I took the kids down the road to the yellow food truck Kai Kai. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

Beautiful spot and couple. Had an insane sunset over Bora Bora. Cute kittens, great recommendations for snorkeling and the bike was a great value. Thank you for your patience as I worked hard in business negotiations while staying.

We had a great time at Amina and her husband's place. The apartment is very well-equipped, clean, and ideally located about a 10-minute walk from the airport shuttle. The real plus: the magnificent pool overlooking the sea, and direct access. In addition, the possibility of using the washing machine on site (200 XPF per load of laundry). The accommodation is also close to several very good restaurants, and Amina and her husband were lovely from start to finish. Very welcoming, available, and full of good tips about the surroundings. They even kindly let us enjoy the pool until the end of the day on the day of our departure, although the accommodation was booked after us. We would recommend this listing!

The accommodation was perfect. The view was particularly beautiful, and the accommodation had everything your heart could desire. The kitchen was particularly noteworthy. I've traveled to 33 countries and seen several Airbnbs. This accommodation is among my top 3. There were even two snorkeling sets. An emergency kit for injuries, and all in all, a lovely stay. This accommodation was worth every penny. I'd be happy to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Sandrine and Romain's. The hosting was warm and the services of the accommodation were quality. Good location on the island and a beautiful view from the terrace with your feet in the water. The icing on the cake, Sandrine and Romain offer boat tours, no need to look for a local provider, and the departure of the tour is on the pontoon just in front of the terrace of the accommodation. We will remember the 2 boat excursions on the beautiful Bora Bora lagoon for a very long time. Thank you for everything and we'll be back with pleasure.

We had an amazing 3-night stay with Nicolas & Honey. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, with plenty of relaxing spots like hammocks and beach chairs. The private beach is just steps away, and the view of the water from the kitchen and back porch was incredible. The property felt very secluded and peaceful, with friendly dogs and well-kept grounds. A huge plus was the A/C — not common everywhere and made for super comfortable nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, which made things easy since there aren’t many dining options on the island. Laundry was also convenient. Nicolas was an awesome host — he offered to take us snorkeling on his boat and gave us a tour of his nearby vanilla farm. Both he and Honey were welcoming, kind, and respectful of our space. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back if we get the chance!

We stayed for six nights, and we were very satisfied with our time here. Our check-in went very smoothly. Barthelemy and Nathalie were wonderful checking us in as well as checking in with us throughout our time when we had questions. They are amazing people. This place is close to the water. One observation is that the street can get a bit noisy from time to time with street traffic. Amazing value

Our stay in Fakarava was truly special, and this unique place will remain one of our favorite memories. The location was peaceful and perfect for rest we especially enjoyed the gentle sea breeze and the soothing sound of the waves at night. The host was kind and helpful, with just the right amount of communication to make everything smooth. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady Tahaa who received us with great kindness and friendliness. The bikes provided were a wonderful touch and made it easy to explore the small and charming town. Just a note for future guests: there’s no air conditioning or hot water, but honestly, with the ocean breeze and the natural surroundings, they’re not really needed. This place is simple, beautiful, and filled with the magic of Fakarava.

Alizée's bungalow is a great place to unwind. The materials are of quality, the accommodation is very clean and Alizée has always been responsive when needed. The sunset is amazing from the terrace or from the motu.

We were welcomed by Martine who is very friendly. The accommodation is nice, with a nice garden!

Excellent stay, we were extremely well hosted by John's lovely family. The accommodation is perfect, large, 3 large comfortable beds, quiet, in front of the lagoon and close to the center of the village and snacks. 15 minutes by bike, the beautiful beach of the island, not to mention kayaking that allows us to fish, walk in the lagoon. We went on a boat with John's sister and her husband, to see the manta rays early in the morning, before the other excursions, went fishing with the neighbor... In short, a stay and meetings that will remain in our memories. Thank you so much again for your hospitality.

You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

everything was compliant, nice view, thank you for the welcome and advice, only small downside with the less friendly neighborhood dogs.

It's not my first time staying at Moea's. The apartment is clean and well equipped. What I prefer most is the location..all at your fingertips..shops,snacks,supermarkets. The beach is a 10 minute drive. The value for the money is very good. See you next time

clean apartment, you need a car and that was our case

We had a great stay at Huahine Beach House! It’s located in the absolutely best possible location in Huahine. The house is right on the nicest strip of beach sand in the area with good snorkeling just steps from the house. It’s only a few minute walk to the small town for restaurants and groceries. We particularly liked the Chinese food and the fried chicken chunks from the food truck at the dock. Izzy’s burgers was great too and the owner was super friendly. As for our space ( Maeva) at the beach house, I’ve never had AC so unbearably cold that we continuously had to turn it down! The place fit our needs perfectly. The owner was on site at times and was a wonderful person who is so friendly and helpful. I think I’ll miss his funny laugh the most. Thank you for the great memories!
