The house is great for small families. It has two rooms of equal size, and comfortable. Tati is a great help with housekeeping and breakfast. The pool is great for adults and kids too, as although deep it has a step for the little ones. We found everything clean and organized. It was a great stay

We booked with this place because the place is simply fantastic. The pictures really don't do the house justice – it's an oasis of peace, with an eye for detail in everything, both in and around the house. It offers plenty of privacy and is maintained and cleaned with a lot of care and love by "the neighbors" – a somewhat older couple that we only saw for a while in the five days we were here. The description says there are two dogs, but we only saw one (Yoeri). And what a sweetheart! A quiet, gentle dog who hasn't barked at all during that time. The area is beautiful, but keep in mind that it is about a 15-minute drive to the nearest village, half of which runs on a road that is not very easy to walk. Still, it was fine – we didn't need a 4x4. Precisely that secluded location gives the place that special feeling of silence and tranquility. In short: we'd love to come back!

The house is like the description, beautiful, clean and with nature around. João is a very attentive and polite host, he made us very comfortable in the property. There's a cute little kitten who loves cuddly. The house has everything you need in the kitchen and a little more. Without a doubt it was the most complete home I have ever used. The place is very quiet for a rest after the hustle and bustle of the day at the beach. We had a snack treat prepared by Paulo. Highly recommend the house.

Where to start… Hosts were friendly, had fast responses and great recommendations. The staff did everything they could at every opportunity for us. Breakfasts had everything you could imagine. The house was spotless and we were looked after for every question we had. The space itself consists of 3 small houses, we were fortunate to be the only ones booked in for our week in Caraíva so had the entire space to ourselves. The house is beautiful with wonderful spaces, wildlife and Furnature. Sitting on the hammock while eating some pão de queijo and watching the sunrise. Perfect. The house is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main port, can be accessed from multiple directions too which is great! The beach is about 2 minutes away. A walk to the shops or to the closest restaurants is also a few minutes. If I’m coming back to Caraíva, I’m coming here. Perfection from start to finish.

Possibly one of the most beautiful places in La Paz, quiet, comfortable, charming, full of natural light, and surrounded by art. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the world for a while, whether alone or as a couple, you will love the magic of this place, the cabin has TV, board games, a beautiful garden with a nice dog and beautiful views, and it's very warm!

We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay there again. We spent most evenings on the outside deck listening to music and enjoying the beautiful view of the lagoon. We took several bike rides (provided by the host) to the nearby stores. Was really nice to see how locals live. We did a day pass to the Conrad resort and though we thought that was amazing we would rather stay at Villa Sunrise. There is a rental car agency 5 minute walk from the house. Just past that a Jetski rental. So super convenient. If you want a more real island vibe vs luxury resort type thing I highly recommend this house.

Caring staff, beautiful location, would stay again and again

The Casa Nossa Villa is an inexplicable place of good! I had a short stay of 4 nights super enjoyable. The house is charming, everything of absolute good taste. Super clean, well furnished, equipped, goes beyond the comfortable, the weather there is pleasure, wonderful energy. Host Chris, more than solicitous, was very kind and gave us valuable tips for our script. And the amazing plus, the delicious breakfast, with wonderful people taking care of us. Thank you for everything!

I would definitely recommend she was so helpful, very responsive. She is so sweet. Will definitely come back to stay at her place again.

Our stay at Renata's house was excellent. The house is very nice, comfortable and very conveniently located, close to the Quadrado and the beaches. Nara, who is in charge of the house, was a delight: every morning she prepared delicious breakfasts for us and helped us with everything we needed. It is undoubtedly a place that I recommend to enjoy Trancoso with tranquility and good taste. We would be happy to come back!

Claire and João house is amazing. Very nice garden and pool, all bedrooms with ac and perfect shower, charming decoration makes all the difference. Highly recommend.

Manha's place is spacious and charming, a wonderful home with a beautiful view of the forests of Trancoso. The outdoor spaces are very nice, especially the pool. A plus point was the washer and dryer, which were very helpful in times of hassle. I thank Melina, who received us very well, resolved all our doubts and sent us several recommendations for tourism. I would definitely come back!

Our stay at the Tatajuba house was simply perfect. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos and offers all the comfort and well-being for those who stay. Michelle is a thoughtful and helpful host who cares about every detail to make sure your guests' experience is amazing. She gave us great tips about Trancoso and suggested delicious restaurants. For us, what stood out most in this trip was the warm reception of the Sol, which welcomed us with a lot of love and affection. A tip: hire the services of Sol! Her breakfast is undoubtedly wonderful. Thank you for your love, Michelle and Sol! ✨🫶🏻

The accommodation is worth the investment, very quiet and cozy, the condominium has a wonderful view of the sea (I recommend going to the overlook near the residence). It is very ventilated, as it is on top of the cliff facing the sea, the moonrise was surreal. The children loved it. The experience was better than I imagined and both the host (Marc) and the lady who welcomed us (Elisangela) gave us all the support we needed to have a wonderful experience, grateful for everything. We'll be back soon.

The house is quiet; the bedding is comfortable and the house is well-equipped

THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT, REALLY IN FRONT OF THE BEACH. THERE ARE RESTAURANTS, SUPERMARKETS, BAKERIES AND PHARMACIES VERY CLOSE. THE HOUSE IS LARGE AND WELL VENTILATED. THE POOL IS VERY GOOD. I RECOMMEND ACASA. SINCERELY ELIZABETE

Ingo welcomed us with a lot of sympathy and proactivity, the house is very behavioral and beautiful, the pool is large…the location is very good, about 10 minutes from the beach and about 10 min from the square, just to go to the square that is a little bad the climb, there is no sidewalk, we find it a little dangerous, especially with the rain. Finally, the home of the super jaguar answered us!

Larissa's place delivers exactly what it promises!! A private location across the road from the sea with a pool for those lazy afternoons. Larissa was very accommodating to our requests and threw in breakfast when we couldn't get the dates we originally booked for due to calendar syncing issues. We will definitely be back when in Savusavu again...

A beautiful villa at the top of a steep hill above Maravu with great views across the strait. It was a great base for our trip - 3 couples. The pool is a great amenity to have particularly when it’s hot and humid. As mentioned in the listing, there is no air conditioning so it can get quite warm during the day but we found the fans in the bedrooms and the breeze at night to be quite effective so no issue for us. The bed linen and toiletries and towels provided were great and the kitchen is well stocked, the fridge full of bottled water was also very much appreciated. Whilst the meal plans were a convenient option, we only did one dinner through our hosts as my partner is from the island so we had family and friends to arrange food and preferred to go out etc. Tramonto at the bottom of the hill is a favourite of ours whenever we’re on the island, Dive Cafe is also a lovely spot to sit and relax with a coffee or food and Ria’s in Naqara for some local faves - cheaper than resorts too!

We stayed in one of the Mata Encantada houses with our two young children and had a great experience. The house is very comfortable, spacious and equipped, exactly as in the listing photos. The place is very quiet and the beach in front is practically deserted. We enjoyed the pool very much and were able to count on the friendliness and kindness of the hosts in granting us a later check-out, as our flight only left at night. We highly recommend staying with Ueli and look forward to returning!
