Vacation rentals with lake access in Vänern

This is a cottage with a modern feel but still warm and homey. Everything is very well-equipped – there are kitchen utensils, air conditioning, plenty of beds, a perfect lawn and a road that leads directly down to the lake. It was even better than we had expected! We really hope to have the opportunity to return to this beautiful accommodation in the future.

If you're looking for peace in a beautiful property, you've come to the right place. A real joy. Askersund is a few miles away. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. We only stayed one night during our road trip, but we had time to enjoy the accommodation. The double bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is large with a view of the woods. If you want to cook, the kitchen is very functional and suitable for cooking meals. Feel free to book.

Hospitable and pleasant hosts. Good communication. Cozy house in quiet surroundings along the Gøta Canal bike route. Took the opportunity to look at the properties' jetty. Incredibly great place. Recommended.

Really a home and a view that immediately creates a lot of enthusiasm. The space, the tranquility, beautiful house and really beautiful views, make it an ideal vacation spot! In addition, if you love nature, you will be fully satisfied. Nice to be able to use the canoes! It was a top week at a top location.

Very cute and spacious house in a great location, private and full of wildlife. Åsa was very responsive. House was well equipped, indoors and outdoors.

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. The residence is quietly surrounded by nature. You get a lot of facilities to make it your home. We only lacked a living room. It was all well taken care of and tidy on arrival except for a few light dust spots. Very pleasant, especially for our transit Travel. Thank you Linnea & Johan!

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The place has everything you need, and the cozy setup makes you feel right at home. It’s great for cooking, too. The host was super friendly and spoke good English. Totally recommend the jetty right on Lake Värmeln!

Lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings

It was very nice to stay in Lenas Appartement. She is a super friendly hosts! I head a great time :) The beautiful nature made it easy to relax and feel even more comfortable :)

The cottage is lovely and comfortable The kitchen has everything we needed to cook dinner. We walked to the port which is stunning. And we used the house as a base to drive to the island of Malmön and walk for the day. Everything was perfect.

We spent a week in Björn's beautiful house and we liked it very much. The house is very clean and superbly equipped, we didn't miss anything. It is very quiet with a beautiful garden and wooden terrace, where we had breakfast in the sun a few times. Björn is very nice and helped us immediately with questions. We will be very happy to return.

An absolutely charming accommodation high up in the mountains with stunning views through the large panoramic window in the living room. Winter garden, terrace with barbecue, garden and directly by the forest overlooking a lake.“Heart, what more do you want!?” The beds were freshly made and super comfortable. The clean towels were ready in the bathroom. In the kitchen, there was everything needed on vacation🤩 We will definitely be back!!

I came back after visiting back in January. Was in the area for my birthday and kept comparing every airbnb to this place so decided to book it again. It didn’t disappoint during summer season as well. The Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning any time of the year. Love this location!

We spent 10 days in the beautiful accommodation. The location is fantastic. Two fantastic lakes within throwing distance, which you can explore directly on foot. The house is just incredibly beautiful. Every detail is thought out, you just feel welcome - everything is prepared as if you are visiting friends. Thanks for that! 🍀

Thank you for a wonderful stay in amazing surroundings. We made stops at the cabin on our way skiing. Super beautiful in the cabin and with winter wonderland and ice on the lake. But we also really wanted to experience it in the summer 😊

We had a great stay at Steen and Karen-Helle's place! The house is secluded behind a hill so you are completely free of roads and neighbors. From the large patio you have a great view of the lake. Rustic feeling but with all the modernities you need (fast internet, sound system, smart TV, etc). Plenty of sleeping places. Big plus for the spacious and well-equipped kitchen + 3 barbecues that we could cook hearty dinners in! We thought maybe 1€/wood for the stove/sauna was a bit expensive, but it wasn't that much for us anyway so it didn't matter too much.

Our stay with Elizabeth and Jörgen was really amazing amidst of gorgeous nature and a lake on walking distance where you can take a nice swim. They are super friendly and welcoming, also for our dog. They have a garden where we could pick some beautifully grown lettuce. And when you are lucky there is homemade bread/Swedish cinnamon buller or even local dinner that we could eat in the romantic glass garden house. All prepared with love, you can taste it :) I also really enjoyed the neighbours horses that are curious and love to eat some grass from your hand. Altogether a perfect stay with some beautiful hiking opportunities and cozy home that facilitates everything. Thanks!
