Close to Jericho beach garden level open space.

Located between Kistilano beach and Jericho beach. This 950 sqft open suite will allow you to enjoy your stay in Vancouver. There is hardwood flooring in all of the suite but the bathroom, which features Italian tiles. Beams are apparent. There is wireless internet, washer/dryer, small fridge and microwave. The unit is the entire bottom floor of the house and we live above. The unit is at ground level (but not a basement, there are windows and direct entry and a nice outdoor patio, excellent lighting, does not feel claustrophobic) with the caveat that part of the ceiling in low - if you are exceptionally tall, it probably won't be the right place for you. There are several restaurants within 2 blocks: Aphrodite’s Organic Cafe and Pie Shop, La Quercia (upscale Italian restaurant). Wonderful in summertime to admire the beautiful pink sunsets, is the Galley, a 15 minutes walk along Jericho Beach. There are also several Japanese, indian, chinese restaurants and many cafes in the vicinity. Become a Vancouverite and walk your cafe to the beach, any time of the day! Kitsilano is a popular neighbourhood, with centenarian houses and leafy streets. From your suite, you can walk to several beaches (Jericho, Locarno, Spanish Banks, Kitsilano), the kits outdoor pool (one lap is 137-meter long!), the Jericho Sailing Club (paddle boards available for rent at Ecomarine). Hop in the bus or take your car to visit the UBC campus, the Museum of Anthropology (MOA), the Art Gallery, Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium, the amazing downtown Vancouver Public Library, Robson street stores, the seawall, Yaletown... Let's not forget Wreck Beach, the swim-suit optional beach west to UBC! Buses are 2 blocks away, allowing an easy access to the Vancouver airport, UBC, downtown. The house is minutes away from the UBC campus and downtown, in a very quiet and charming neighbourhood. This is a well laid out suite with one private bedroom,living room and kitchenette with bar frig, sink, microwave, coffee-maker, induction hot plate and toaster oven.Closet space, and a large bathroom with a steam room. You will have access to our hot tub with a beautiful view of the ocean and your own barBQ. Rental bike outlets nearby make it easy to get around and fun to see the sites. Easy access to UBC or down town. Everything else is a walk or bike ride away in the spring and summer months. In the winter months it is best to have a car to get around because it is a hike up a steep hill to get to the closest bus stop. Guests have their own private entrance. The suite has wifi, several Oceanside bike and walking paths in front of the house. We will provide information to guests and be available to make their visit fun and enjoyable. Walk out of the door and enjoy a stroll or bike ride on Spanish Beach, one of the longest stretches of sand anywhere. The sailing club is only a short walk away and apps like Mobibikes.ca or Car2Go make it easy to get to many attractions car or bike. Public transportation is a short walk away, if you want to bike ride there are countless bike paths that will take you as far as Stanley Park Seawall and Granville Island! Ample easy parking.25 minutes to airport. 2 hours to Whistler. 45 minutes to BC Ferries. 15 minutes to downtown. 10 minutes to UBC. Long walk or short drive to neighbourhood restaurants like Brown's, White Spot and various Italian , Greek and Japanese . Short walk to bike kayak, sailboat and Paddleboard rentals! This prime location is one of the best for site seeing and close to the beautiful UBC campus on the west side and Granville Island market and Stanley Park on the east side. In the winter months it is best to have a car because it is a hike up a steep hill to get to the closest bus stop. Also, the suite is in the basement of our home with a ventilation system in the bedroom but no windows so it is very cozy and quiet.

This place was perfect for our staff retreat. There was so much space for us to meet, cook, and relax together. We especially loved the fire pit and BBQ, it was great to have a space to wind down in the evenings. The basement was a big hit too, with all the games, kareoki and extras making it super fun. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfy, and everything was really clean. The host was responsive and made check-in easy and was very accomodating. Would definitely book again for a group getaway!

The pictures really don’t do justice to how perfect the view is here- it is amazing!! We saw humpback whales jumping not even 200 yards from the deck, truly amazing! Vahid is also a very great and communicative host. He made sure to let us know when wildlife was in the vicinity. Highly recommend a stay here!

This was an excellent stay for my fiance and I. Kim's house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long-term stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a brand new dishwasher and oven. The bedrooms were very cozy, with extremely comfortable mattresses and sheets. The bathroom was also very clean, with lots of storage space for toiletries and things. The neighborhood was something special, too. its a gated community with a very peaceful feel to it. Several walkable parks, one of which we went to nearly every day we were there to watch the sunset over the bay. The people here are friendly and welcoming. Finally, the property manager, Shirley, was a real gem. She was so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely kind to us during our stay. She works hard to make sure the yard is kept up with, issues are resolved, and overall cares for the comfort of the guests. This is a 5 star Abnb that I wish I could have stayed at for longer. Dont hesitate to book!

What a wonderful house in a fantastic location. The house was very homely and restful and was more than adequate for our eight family members. Penny and Andy were always very responsive to any queries we had. This made our stay very easy and enjoyable. We hope to return in the future.
