You will arrive by car in this peaceful oasis, welcomed by the large terrace where you will enjoy the sun all day, and end up admiring the sunset. Upon entering, the living room with winter fireplace is very intimate for reading a book.

Discover the charm of an 11th-century medieval tower, completely original from the period, in the heart of Lucca. Once home to the architects of the Cathedral and later to the bell-ringer, it stands at the foot of the bell tower — but the bells never ring, ensuring peace and restful sleep. An ancient deconsecrated church dating back to the early 1900s, originally built as a private chapel of Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni has a loft structure with two double bedrooms on two separate mezzanines. Outside, there is a kitchen with a wood-burning oven, private gardens with a tree-lined avenue and an olive grove. The gates and internal stairs were built by the Antica Fonderia Michelucci. It was once the biggest house in Vallico Sopra, looking down onto peaceful woods, with gorgeous suntrap of a terrace complete with church belltower. The apartment retains most original features, boasting chestnut wood beams and beautiful floors throughout. The living room has a large fireplace, the kitchen has been restored in a traditional/country style, and the master bedroom has a canopy bed.

'The Arches' is a beautiful, traditional Garfagnana home. The building is around 500 years old, and is thought to be at the very heart of the original Cardoso, with the village growing around this centre over the next few centuries. Recently restored, the house has many original features, including wooden beams, terracotta tiles and its two distinctive arches. Quality features complement this history in the form of two modern bathrooms, central heating and a contemporary kitchen.
