Magnificent rustic, perfectly renovated and tastefully furnished. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and lovely garden. The reading corner is very relaxing and perfect for ending the day. And finally, the excellent coffee should be mentioned. Franziska is always very helpful, attentive and very kind. A big thank you!

We felt super comfortable. It was very quiet and the surroundings were fantastically beautiful. The mosquitoes were extremely exhausting, but the accommodation and the hosts can't do anything about that. If you are looking for peace and just want to relax, this is the place to be. Great location of a great house.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Barbara and Rolando’s beautiful rustico in Val Bavona. The house is full of charm, thoughtfully restored, and perfectly situated in one of the most stunning and peaceful valleys we’ve ever visited. Barbara and Roland were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. You can tell they’ve put a lot of love and care into the place—it has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. If you’re looking for a quiet escape in nature with breathtaking scenery all around, this is the perfect spot. We hope to return someday!

Lovely little cabin in a very nice secluded village. Here you can have your peace and do a lot in nature. Or practice pizza baking. The welcome was personal and very warm. Thank you!

The place is beautifully located, in the middle of the historic core of Avegno. We were traveling by public transport and bicycle and there is a pleasant bike path from Locarno to Avegno, only the final part to the house is a little steeper but short and easily doable. The location is ideal to explore the Maggiatal but also towards Locarno, we were climbing and swimming in the pools of the Maggia, all of which is super easy to reach. We shopped at the Coop in Verscio or the gas station in Avegno - but Toni provided us with a large bowl of fruits, onions and garlic as well as drinks in the fridge. Barbecuing is also great, the terrace has sun for a long time. It is a very sweet rustic place and I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful apartment with great view over the lake! The apartment is very clean and has very modern and new amenities. The host Christoph is very responsive and friendly!

Piero and Nadia are excellent hosts ensuring our stay went very smoothly. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace taking in the view, and in the evening watching the sun go down.

It was a wonderful and relaxing time. A beautiful studio with fantastic views. We will be happy to come back!

I just want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the warm hospilality during our stay. We felt incredibly welcome throughout our visit, the warmth made our time truly special. Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

My husband and I spent a week with our two dogs in this magnificent place! It was like immersing ourselves in a world away from everything and everyone, a place that remained pristine. The sun is present from 9 am to 7 pm and the view of the mountains is a real spectacle. Every day we were able to observe families of deer from the window of the room. The house is golden of everything useful, in the kitchen, in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Ability to grill and pizza in the wood-fired oven. Gianni was immediately nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of activity ideas in the area and was available throughout the vacation. We're SO pumped to have discovered this corner of World. We hope to be back soon!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Noemi responded quickly and attentively to our questions and concerns. Above all, the explanation by video on how to use the pellet stove was very helpful. Since it was a cool, rainy day, it was very nice to be able to heat up a little. The property is also good for people who arrive by Postbus like us. There is a small shop in the next village that has everything you need on vacation. And the nature, the tranquility are wonderful.

Marc is a fantastic host. The accommodation is a typical Swiss mountain hut with tradition, which we really liked. The arrival was comfortable, the cabin is easy to reach. Thanks Marc, we will be happy to come back.

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!

Beautiful, lovingly decorated, small cabin high up in the mountains. We had a wonderful time hiking and climbing with our young children. It is very quiet on the Alp when the chairlift no longer runs in the evening. Aldo was very friendly and helpful. Even when it came to organizing luggage transportation. Great to really drive down. A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is lovingly furnished and ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. I'm sure we'll be back!

Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!
