Two stone houses immersed in the woods, in the small "Gropp" complex, reachable from the parking lot in 18 minutes on foot along a paved pedestrian road, the last 10 minutes of which are a slightly uphill path in the woods. Historic home in the archaic Maggiatal Valley

According to the legend my house served as a post office and also housed travellers. The thick stone walls may hold many stories about it, maybe you would like to add yours. In a quiet side street, where only the murmur of the village fountain interrupts the peace and quiet, you live in a lovingly restored house with a kitchen/living room on the ground floor, 4 guest rooms with shower/toilet on the 1st floor and 2 other rooms with bathroom and kitchen/living room on the 2nd floor .

Wild Valley Secluded Apartment 1, Valle Onsernone

This cosy apartment on the bottom floor of a vacation house containing 3 apartments is a great place to get away from it all. The views from the patio of this green valley full of palm trees are breathtaking! Plus it's only 25 minutes to Locarno! The house is accessible on foot from the main road up 80 steps and is set back from the road to allow a large degree of privacy and tranquility. Note that you can rent it together with the apartment on the top floor, for a total of 6 beds.

Rustic Gin Avegno Torbecc, Maggia Valley, Ticino,

Rustic surrounded by greenery, close to the river and its beaches, rock for climbing 30m, klettern, 200m Bus to Locarno and Ascona (5km) 10 min WALK from the road on a path. Minimum one adult 27 years old. There are 3 houses (total 15/17 beds.) In January the temperature in the house is max 16 degrees Bed linen and towels 25.00 CHF per person. reservations of less than one week are accepted only in the month prior to the vacation date. (Short stays only possible as last-minute).

Detached two-room flat with kitchen and bathroom in a unique Ticino rustic complex, surrounded by a large, fenced, flower-filled and well-kept garden. To make your holiday even more magical, there is a pergola with a large grill. Ideal for a single person or a couple, the flat is located in the heart of Avegno and a five-minute walk from the bus stop leading directly to Locarno (9 km). The swimming pool is open only in the summer time. Otherwise it is covered with a tarp.

The apartment is in a 1800s house that has been renovated over the years. This is a typical place with a wood-burning stove, the floors like the ceilings are made of wood. There is a staircase to access the bathroom. Independent entrance, garden with BBQ and pergola for grilling, the laundry room is shared with the other two apartments. Public transportation stops are a minute's walk away. Pets are welcome, you are required to notify the four foot friend when booking.

In the middle of Boschetto, a listed hamlet above Cevio in the Maggia Valley, lies the Cà Lüina, a historic, spacious rustico. The three-hundred-year-old house was extensively restored in 2021-2024 with the aim of preserving its character. A lot of emphasis has been placed on the use of natural materials when renovating with local craftsmen. The house is very high quality equipped with a modern kitchen and a modern bathroom and has a great garden.

The lower floor houses 3 bedrooms, while the upper floor features a practical kitchen with a small balcony facing the mountainside and a spacious living room with a fireplace and panoramic views of Aurigeno village and the Maggia Valley. Situated in the village center and on the forest edge, it's an ideal base for various activities, with hiking trails starting nearby and Maggia River beaches and a scenic waterfall within walking distance.

Enjoy Ticino in a romantic, rustic cottage in the forest with 2 bedrooms (2 beds each) and a mass storage in the attic (on the Regulations of the canton of Ticino, I am allowed a total of max. 6 beds). Quietly located in the forest, accessible by car, parking available. Simple stone house with running hot water, fully equipped kitchen but no dishwasher and no washing machine. Heating if needed with gas or wood. Wi-Fi available, no TV.
