Vacation rentals with lake access in Val-de-Ruz District

Our stay at this wonderful house was absolutely incredible, exceeding all expectations. The house is not only extremely comfortable but also even better than the photos suggest. Every single detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it a truly well-equipped and inviting home. We spent two wonderful weeks here and felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The amenities, cleanliness, and cozy atmosphere made our stay effortless and enjoyable. Gary, is outstanding—responsive, generous, and genuinely kind. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added so much to the experience. Kudos to this amazing place and host! Christine's house is a real haven of peace, with a beautiful garden where the children were able to play while the adults enjoyed themselves. Close to shops (Coop, bakery) as well as trains and boats, this house was very convenient and in a good location. 15-20 minutes from the beach on foot (with children). The beds were good quality and there was everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this warm and comfortable place.

My sister and I spent two super beautiful days with Cyril with our nine children. The accommodation has everything you need, including Spices, salt, dishwashing detergent, etc., was clean and the gallery was very suitable for the kids to stay overnight. We also enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi in the garden with the many garden furniture and play facilities. The kids could be as loud as they wanted and listen to and play music. Cyril is very straightforward. It must be said that the house and the furniture and partly also things in the garden have become outdated. But that didn't bother us.

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip by public transport. That's possible, the bus runs hourly in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage rather 30 minutes.

We enjoyed the quaint, cozy chalet very much. The garden is amazing! We were allowed to help ourselves to the fresh fruit in the garden. When we needed support, Benny helped us immediately. There was only one small downside. The sofa bed was made up for us in the living room. It took a little getting used to and the sleeping comfort was not particularly good. We would prefer a real bed. All in all, however, a top place to stay.

We immediately felt at home. The arrival was flexible, clear and the apartment inside very nice. It also had coffee, honey and toilet paper. Neighbours are very accommodating. The location is great, 2 minutes to the lake. With a very nice shore, plenty of space for various activities such as jogging, swimming, volleyball... The only thing that partially bothered me was the noise of the traffic. At night it was very quiet. I'd love to come back! Just a pity that the house will be rebuilt in the fall.

One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. Location was perfect for our taste, away from the crowd yet accessible. Beautiful and close to lake and mountain activities. Lukas was very friendly and responsive to all our queries. The house itself was great, clean and in a perfect spot. Only thing we missed was a washing machine due to the long duration of our stay, but other than that, it was as close to perfect as we could hope !!!

Clean, neat apartment with garden behind the house. It's located on the main road, but it doesn't have much traffic at night. Although we did not meet the hosts in person, everything was very straightforward and the communication worked out great.

Egzona's apartment is perfect. Clean, cozy, in a very quiet and peaceful area. Compared to a year ago, the bathroom has been completely renovated in a modern and elegant style. Egzona is always helpful, kind and caring. Recommended for those who need to stay near Neuchatel.

Great place to stay. Bolia was great to deal with. Even though we didn't speak each others languages we could communicate via Airbnb, Whats App and text messages easily. The combination of an old building and modern but not too modern interior was fantastic. Really peaceful and comfortable. Across the road from the chocolate factory but couldn't hear any noise. Nice walk up to Broc for the Coop, bakery etc. for supplies. Easy bus journey to Gruyere and the H R Giger museum and bar etc.

Very nice place and wonderful house

We have already stayed with Paloma in the chalet twice and we liked it very much and felt comfortable! We can recommend the chalet and the location is great! Unfortunately, we had to take a mattress with us again this year because our children are too small to sleep alone on the upper floor as it is only accessible via an external staircase! A warm beach cottage with a beautiful private garden. The cottage is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you might need for holidays with children. On foot you are in max. 10 minutes on the beautiful beach of Gletterens.

Beautiful location, friendly and responsive host. All amenities mentioned were provided. There’s no kitchen as mentioned, but can use microwave, kettle and hot pot to warm or cook basic stuff. No issues if you’re coming by car, but in case of walking, as all of the bus stops are downhill, it could be a tough walk. Also it’s because the place is uphill you get such beautiful lake view. Pool table is icing on the cake. So thankful to the host for letting us use washer and dryer. Also we were given croissants, nutella on arrival, overall a great stay.

The Bijou is something very special at the Mortensee. The location is superb, the lake is beautiful and the Bijou comes with its own jetty Just perfect

We were allowed to enjoy 5 days in this great accommodation. The place is clean and you feel at home. The garden was a little paradise. The host is very friendly and responds very quickly. In a few minutes you can reach the beautiful Lake Murten.
