For children, a climbing frame, a trampoline and a forest behind the house for adventures.

The cottage is beautifully situated on Norrbacken next to the forest. Within a three-kilometer radius, there are swimming beaches, hiking and biking trails and the "meteorite crater" Söderfjärden where thousands of cranes stop over in the spring and autumn. Norrbacken is an idyllic hill with small farms, forest paths and little traffic. Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families. A modest, over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

The house 100 meters from the sea invites to beautiful experiences in a wonderful environment, relaxation and peacefulness. The house has 3 floors, only 2 floors (ground floor+basement) are in use for you. Nobody is using the upper floor. 700 meters to the nearest swimming beach. Rowing boat below the house. Common outdoor sauna, 10€/time.

Small cozy grandmother's cottage in Österhankmo

Relax in this unique and quiet waterfront accommodation. The village offers a municipal swimming beach with barbecue facilities, swings and volleyball nets, and there is also a disc golf course. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful countryside accommodation. A farm sauna trailer is available for a separate fee. Breakfast is not included. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can make your own food if you want. The nearest stores are in Maxmo (8 km), Vörå city center (13 km) and Oravais (17 km). 3 km to the lake.
