Cottage vacation rentals in Uva Province

Our stay was completely successful! The host was extremely polite and always available. If we needed anything, we could easily contact him via chat message – he usually responded immediately and quickly took care of our concerns. Particularly noteworthy is that he drove us to the next accommodation on the day of departure at a fair price. The rooms were nicely decorated, the grounds lovingly and attractively designed. Overall a very pleasant atmosphere – we can clearly recommend this place!

This beautiful cottage is small, and perfect for a small family. Since Nuwera Eliya gets a bit cold at night, the cozy bed rooms and the blankets provided by Thidasala came to our rescue. His father took care of us so well, since Thidasala was not in town when we visited. We appreciate that. The view from the room of the Gregory Lake is brilliant. The wifi is good. We had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom was clean and we had hot water. This place is perfect for a small family who wants to enjoy the city, and not be in the rush. Their hospitality was amazing. 5 star from me.

Only stayed one night at Sandun's place, but a fabulous stay. Went on a great safari tour organized my the host, just a few minutes after checking it. The safari was fantastic with a guide who really knows his stuff, with a keen eye, he kept spotting the animals, that would otherwise not been noticed. After the tour we had a great srilankan dinner at the stay, and then again breakfast in the morning. Delicious!! Highly recommend!!

Our recent stay at Koshi's Country Cottage in Ella was truly an amazing and memorable one. The cottage was nicely and colorfully designed to blend with nature. The cleanliness and the scent of nature blowing through the doors were exceptional. The bathrooms and the entire cottage was spic and span! We had 24 hour security around the cottage and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were served with delicious breakfast by the friendly kitchen lady. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a safe, clam, serene and relaxing holiday in Ella.

We had a wonderful stay here - peaceful and quiet away from the main road, and beautiful gardens to relax in. Dasun went above and beyond to be helpful, including sending on an extremely important item we had left behind! Great communication and a really kind and friendly host. Highly recommend 💜

We had a lovely time. We stayed at the cottage. The property is lovely and the meals are great. We enjoyed the beautiful natural pools that are very nearby, and if you are in Ella for hikes and nature, this is a great place to stay. But if you want to be near the train station and town, you may want to look somewhere there. This is in the mountains, which is what we were looking for.

Ajith was an incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and hospitable host. From the beginning of our booking process to the moment we left, he was helpful and kind. He arranged drivers to and from Udawalawa, as well as a safari. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, including accommodating our dietary needs and wants. The food is made on site and is excellent, always served with a smile. I would recommend Ajith’s establishment to anyone passing through Udawalawa! Thanks for everything!

Lovely brand new little cottage in a private area of Udawalawa. Very private location in the peaceful jungle. The property was easy to find and walking distance (or short tuktuk) to restaurants. Hasith was very friendly and helpful, he was able to arrange everything for us, including safari, spa, and a driver to another city. We would visit again!

The host was very kind helpful and friendly. He made the breakfast food we wanted and they were awesome.🙏

Neville was very communicative, the space is beautiful, only 6km, or a short tuktuk ride from the main town, worth the quietness and serenity. Breakfast was fresh, the dog just gave birth to beautiful puppies. Would stay here again and recommend

Great place to detach from everything else, soothing sound from a waterfall, great views of mountains, valleys and Udawalawa Reservoir and National Park from a distance. The Milky Way feels as you are on a spaceship. Watch Monkeys, Giant squirrels and hundreds of birds from your bed. Experience a great and safe bath from a waterfall just few steps away. Since my visit was in the hot season day times was little hot and if an Air Conditioner would be a great addition . However, the nights are cooler and the pedestal fan helps a lot. You can cook your own meals or request from the host. All information is on paper and host messages. Prepare to do loads of reading. the location is easy to find in google maps, simply search "Happy Stones" Great Value for Money !

this Airbnb is an excellent stay that's perfect for a safari trip. The cottage is exceptionally clean and comfortable, and Hasith is a brilliant host. The food was excellent and he catered to our every needs. we would absolutely recommend this cottage for anyone visiting Udawalawe.

Flow Cottage was one of the most memorable places we've stayed. The view from the veranda is breathtaking, we spent hours just watching the thunderstorms roll through the valleys below and monkeys playing in the trees. It feels completely private and peaceful, a perfect place to slow down. The walking guide was incredibly useful, with mapped routes and GPX files that made exploring the hills easy and rewarding. We also loved the company of the friendly dogs, who quickly felt like part of the experience. Chitra was a warm and generous host, and her home-cooked meals were a real treat. She was able to cook varied vegan meals for us and completely understood the constraints. We can’t wait to come back!

Ajith’s father Mr. Premadasa was very helpful and co-ordinating… He helped us out in preparing barbeque and responded to every query of us… We had a great stay and i would certainly recommend all to stay at this place when in Nuwara Eliya.

The property matched all the photos listed, and if anything, it exceeded our expectations. The stunning landscape and the beauty of the surroundings made our stay feel like a dream. While public transport options are limited, having a private vehicle is the best way to reach the property comfortably. Once there, you'll be able to fully enjoy the tranquility and breathtaking views. I highly recommend this property, particularly for families or groups seeking a peaceful retreat. We would love to return again in the future!
