We felt right at home. Place is very calm and clean. This is the place you want to go if you want to relax and enjoy true peacefulness of the nature. It's surrounded by green mountains and facing beautiful valley views. Sirisena and his wife prepared variety of tasty meals for us. We'll definitely be back soon.

Gerard is super friendly and very helpful at all times. Everything was like subscribed. The location got a very beautiful view. Most attractions are nearby also.

The property is way better and scenic than seen in photos. Our stay was brief but fulfilling. Nice place with necessary amenities. Sujeewa is outstanding— helped us in many ways including delivering us dinner in late night. Don’t miss the sunrise!!

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful, spotless, and was beyond our expectations we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host is responsive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. He took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and made the check in, finding the location and check out process super easy! Such a beautiful house, old style which is my preference. Lovely yard and garden. Two bathtubs! A two mile downhill walk to town which I love and frequent buses and tuk tuks if needed. The host’Joy, is an absolute joy to be around, always concerned for my well being, telling stories. A wonderful stay, more than I could have hoped for.

We had al lovely time at Amila’s place. The place is huge, very nice for kids, lots of room to play. Amila is extremely friendly and helpful, drove us around a couple of times and taught us everything about his garden. His knowledge of plants and fruits is remarkable. We were treated to fresh fruits daily and got a tour of his extensive garden. It is a little out of town, although close to the Nine Arches Bridge, so you could walk it if you like. Because we have kids we asked Amila to drop us off and pick us up. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this lodge was made exceptional by the caretaker on duty! He was the most helpful person and took every measure to ensure we were as comfortable as possible even while being in the heart of the jungle. The hosts were also very responsive and upfront about what to expect at the lodge. Overall great place to stay at an affordable price for a true jungle safari experience!

Nice, peaceful stay in nature ☘️

This beautiful cottage is small, and perfect for a small family. Since Nuwera Eliya gets a bit cold at night, the cozy bed rooms and the blankets provided by Thidasala came to our rescue. His father took care of us so well, since Thidasala was not in town when we visited. We appreciate that. The view from the room of the Gregory Lake is brilliant. The wifi is good. We had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom was clean and we had hot water. This place is perfect for a small family who wants to enjoy the city, and not be in the rush. Their hospitality was amazing. 5 star from me.

Our recent stay at Koshi's Country Cottage in Ella was truly an amazing and memorable one. The cottage was nicely and colorfully designed to blend with nature. The cleanliness and the scent of nature blowing through the doors were exceptional. The bathrooms and the entire cottage was spic and span! We had 24 hour security around the cottage and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were served with delicious breakfast by the friendly kitchen lady. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a safe, clam, serene and relaxing holiday in Ella.

We had a lovely time. We stayed at the cottage. The property is lovely and the meals are great. We enjoyed the beautiful natural pools that are very nearby, and if you are in Ella for hikes and nature, this is a great place to stay. But if you want to be near the train station and town, you may want to look somewhere there. This is in the mountains, which is what we were looking for.

If you are considering to book this place, just do it. They are the most welcoming people and really want to make the best out of your stay. The view is just incredible. Sunset as well as sunrise are impressive from up there. The house is such an experience as well. Just don’t expect a 5 star hotel vibe - but then you will simply love this place. (And the food - delivered by a chef from the town „closeby“ - was the best of my entire time Sri Lanka). I wish everyone could have this experience

This place is great for a peaceful vacation and recommended for adventurers. The staff is really good and place is very neat. The team helped us throughout our stay. One drawback is - It is far from Ella and the road to reach the place is rough. The team will take you in 4x4 to their place, it takes 45-60 minutes to the vill. There are no hospitals or any other places nearby. Won’t suggest this place if you are traveling with elderly otherwise it’s an amazing place with great view!
