Ella-tourist destination is just 30 minutes from our bungalow, one and a half hours to Nuwaraeliya and 45 minutes to haputhale. Our bunglow is facing a beautiful water stream and river bath. We have cycling facilities, Barbecue, Separate family cottage . We have a restaurant area and you can enjoy traditional Sri Lankan foods and western foods. We have organic vegetables grown in our own farm. Our bungalow is situated in a very peaceful agricultural area and you can visit the farms around.

Chamoth is one of the nicest hosts you’ll meet, extremely hospitable. It’s a great house in a great location and met our requirements. Chamoth will also assist in getting hot water for showers. Would definitely recommend!

Staying with Ajith and his family was a pleasure. We had a wonderful time staying with them. I would recommend to try the meals of them. His mother made us every morning homemade coconut rotti (so good) and we tried also her curry what was probably one of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. It is not in Ella Town but he offers a lift free of charge so it is not a problem and you can avoid tourist crowds.

Pros: 1. Beautiful Views from the House 2. Amazing Caretaker 3. Quite and Serene surrounding 4. Amazing Sunrise directly from the bedroom Cons: 1. Location is 12kms-13kms away from town 2. Villa requires a bit more finishing like tiling 3. Access road to reach the villa is tricky and rugged. You need a skilled driver to manoeuvre and also a big vehicle, like a bus or more than 9 seater van, would be incapable to reaching the villa. 4. Electricity gets cut off sometimes but resumes in 5 mins or so Overall satisfied and would recommend

We had a fantastic stay for three nights at this lovely accommodation in Udawalawe. The room on the first floor was comfortable and exactly as described. During our visit, we enjoyed two exciting safaris, which were undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. We were thrilled to see superb wild elephants roaming freely, their majestic presence leaving us in awe. The diversity of wildlife was incredible; we spotted a variety of birds, from vibrant kingfishers to graceful egrets, adding color to our safari experience. We even had the chance to observe crocodiles basking by the water’s edge, completing our adventure with a touch of excitement. The delicious breakfast was provided on request, making our mornings even better. Friendly staff provided us everything we requested. Overall, this place offers great value for money with reasonable prices. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay and a superb safari experience. You won’t be disappointed!

Anushka is very responsive and helpful. Place was as posted and had a few extras like water heater and washing machine although those were not listed! He even threw in free transport for our World’s End hike! Peaceful surrounding and 3mins walk to Pattipola railway station. Great service!
