Tiny house vacation rentals in Upper Austria

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at the Holzknechthütte. The accommodation is rustic and simple and still offers some comfort (warm water for the bathtub outside, small fridge, Wi-Fi, electric stove and wood stove, running cold water in the cottage, kettle, pots and pans, dishes). The location is quiet, surrounded by nature and yet easily accessible: by car via the forest road or on foot from Lunz am See via the beautiful and interesting railway adventure trail (duration about 1.5 hours). On site, the contact person was very accommodating and friendly. In the rain, it is a little cramped in the cottage, but it is well insulated and remained warm even in cool temperatures.

An absolute stroke of luck! We enjoyed our time very much and were able to unwind wonderfully. The great meadow with the many, many flowers and herbs behind the cottage, the nice animal neighbors, the beautiful view, the great oven/ stove and last but not least Marianne, the wonderful hostess! We sincerely hope to see you again sooner or later!

Renate & Stephan are simply perfect, super helpful and likeable hosts. The Teich-Haus is very well equipped. The wooden kitchen brings pleasant warmth into the house and it is a pleasure to cook or bake on it - a small trip to the past.♡ Wonderfully nostalgic and so cozy! Those who prefer it modern will find electric hotplates and a large microwave in the kitchen. The mattresses are nice and pleasantly hard, so you can sleep super comfortably and the bed linen and bath towels smelled wonderfully fresh and very pleasant. The whole cottage is very cozy and invites you to relax with its beautiful pond at the edge of the forest. Simply wonderful for nature lovers. We could comfortably observe various birds, thousands of tadpoles, fish, and even a deer from the large terrace. The old town of Linz is worth a trip and dear Renate is happy to give tips on what to visit and where.

Very cute and peaceful hut within the mountains. Provides everything one would need for a short getaway. Host is available if needed for questions or suggestions. We’d come back any time!

I had a very nice few days in the little cottage. Everything was really thought of – from kitchen utensils to towels and enough blankets, etc. – and everything was very clean and tidy. I found it particularly pleasant that everything was available in sufficient quantity, so that you do not have to go shopping immediately. Communication was straightforward, even when it came to the fireplace – that was new to me, but it worked well thanks to the instructions. The house was a little cool at the beginning, but with the stove it quickly became really cozy. The surroundings are beautiful and ideal to unwind for a few days. I'll be more than happy to come back!

My boyfriend and I had an incredibly nice weekend in the tiny house, very relaxing and quiet! Gerald was super helpful and friendly. We will be happy to come back!

A truly beautiful cozy place to enjoy nice sun and a nice lake to walk around. The vicinity is very quiet and you can hear the sound of nature. There are no restaurants or groceries stores walkable from the place, which was a little bit of struggle but otherwise a truly nice place and highly recommended. Martina as a host was really responsive and kind enough to be flexible as well. I would love to stay there again.

We spend two night at the Birgit’s place and enjoyed it a lot, — very peacefull with a great mountain view. Nice surrouding - some good restaurants in walkable distance, good spots to swim or even rent a boat. We would be happy to come back again someday. Thank you

Our stay in this tiny house was perfect! We have nothing to object to. Everything was clean, the house was very well thought through, enough space for four people and all our things, and very well equipped - nothing was missing. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every moment in the house, on trips in the area, or on the terrace with a view of wild animals and nature. The lake is very nearby and beautiful to swim in. Shops are also near. The owner stopped by and gifted us fresh eggs from their chickens which was very nice. One of our best stays ever, thank you!

A true natural paradise – absolutely recommended! Waldzauber Hirschenwies: The name says it all. Very cozy cottage for 2-4 people with top amenities. Our stay with David was just perfect! The accommodation is idyllically located on the edge of the forest and offers exactly the peace and quiet you want. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the attention to detail: the house is modern, cozy and well equipped – from the fully equipped kitchen to the fantastic terrace with views of the countryside or depending on the snow in a beautiful winter landscape. In addition, it should be emphasized that the space is extremely clean! Another plus: The warm and uncomplicated communication with the host. You feel very comfortable and welcome. If you are looking for a break in nature, you will definitely find it here. The accommodation is completely recommended for a beautiful holiday in the Waldviertel – we will definitely be back! 😃

It was a great stay, location, accommodation and the host wise. It is definitely worth visiting during winter and I guess summer, we will plan to visit in summer for sure. The house is a great place to stay for a family with kids. The fireplace was an amazing add-on to complete our experience. We got fast and great support from the host throughout the stay.

Romana is a great host. She's very responsive and friendly. Recommended restuarants and places to visit. I loved the cozy home. Great location, just 5 minutes walk from Grundlesee (which is amazing). The place was clean and even had a fireplace! Loved my stay!

We wanted to thank you for the stay. It was a wonderful vacation, where you could definitely stay longer. The tiny house has everything you need and is pretty big. The surroundings also offer everything, lake, hiking, sweet villages and many bike paths. Perfect for couples of all ages or families!

We had an amazing stay in Bayerham! There were plenty of amenities inside and the mobilhome was big enough for the three of us. It was also only a couple of minutes walking to the lake, which was great! Georg & Anja were always very responsive and helpful. They made some very clear instruction video's which helped a lot, including how to check-in, how to get to the mobilhome, how the TV works, etc. Overall would definitely recommend!

We had a great 2-night stay in Daniela’s house, cozy interior, stunning and quiet surroundings, perfect locations (1-min drive to ADEG mart), plenty of parking space… Host was super responsive and friendly too! The only setback is no lift in the building and you need to carry your luggage up multiple flights of staircase, other than that it was a perfect place to stay in Gosau! Thank you for having us 😊

The tiny house is simply beautiful – built with a lot of love for detail and the pine wood has a particularly pleasant indoor climate. The layout is optimally used, and the small but very well-equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The location is fantastically quiet, surrounded by nature, and offers a lot of privacy – perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Eva is an extremely likeable and uncomplicated host who makes you feel right at home. It was pure relaxation for us. We will definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars.

A nice little mobile home with cozy terrace, just a few minutes to the beach, with great, quiet sunbathing area with lots of natural shade and gravel sand beach, perfect for our little one. Mike goes above and beyond and we spent very nice days there.

It was really nice at your place. The garden is an absolute dream and in the nearby forest you can go for a great walk. We liked it very much and we will come back.

Very nice house in a quiet location. The amenities make it perfect for a family vacation. We had almost no entertainment to take for the little one (there was a play kitchen, books, sandbox, swing, trampoline, etc.). The hosts also communicated with us very quickly and kindly. We will be back!
